“Today is my second time ordering food from Bitterman BBQ on the corner of Rt 109 and Straight path in the town of west Babylon . The food was very good not to forget the big generous portion. Mr Bitterman is friendly and always has the biggest smile in his face. Please go there to get the tastiest BBQ in town. “I was craving collard greens - and looking for a new place to try. I found Village BBQ on line and was impressed with the reviews so off I went. Randy the owner is not only the nicest guy but a fantastic chef! He and his wife run the business. I had his brisket (at his insistence!) Delicious! Sweet potatoes and collard greens. Customer next to me raved about the banana pudfing so I added that too. All 5 star!!! Very happy I took the chance on a place in a gas station!!“

“I live in Wantagh and have been to Dang many, many times. The food is great, the service is fantaststic and I would rate you a 10 out of 10 but for one thing...the MUSIC is horrible! It is the same songs by the same artist every time we attend and it is about 50% too loud as well. I like country music and it is appropriate but please, get some decent country music that has some classics and recognizable artists. Today, we had a great lunch and our waitress, Kaitlin, was wonderful. But we skipped desert because we just could not take any more of the terrible music. I know others who share my opinion. Please, put a cherry on the cake and play some decent music we all can enjoy and keep the volume reasonabe. It should be background music, not overpowering. Cordially, Vinny Vincent Ciro 👍“

“The food was really good! Loved the pulled pork and the mac and cheese was super tasty! The collars greens were were cooked well although lacking a little acid for my taste but that was quickly remedied by adding a little of the Carolina bbq sauce which added a mustardy kick. The service was friendly and attentive. My only complaint is the overuse of disposable plastic dinnerware, cups, and serving vessels. If they used more eco-friendly products or traditional plates, silverware, and glasses I'd love this place a lot more. 😏“

“We've been coming here for the past three years. My favorite dish is the honey lemon pepper wings with the truffle fries. Oscar makes the best wings! Hot, crispy and well-seasoned. We've tried just about all of the menu items to include the mac and cheese, yams, collard greens, brisket, burgers, Sweet Tai chili wings, ribs and the chicken and shrimp combo. My favorite is the honey lemon pepper wings with a Blue Mai Tai. Their hours during the winter are iffy, but when they are there, it's always a good time. Music is great and the sound is crisp, never too loud. Staff is friendly and the owner always comes out to chat with us. Prices are on par with the rest of the restaurants on the Mile.“

“Primarily take out Hawaiian poke bowls and more. Bowls were about the same cost as other comparable places in the area. I felt they were better in taste. I went for the eel and that was spectacular - next time I’ll double up on the eel. Portion sizes were just right. Freshly prepared with love and care.

Also tried the calamari and chicken dumplings, just as good.

“Outstanding. Google rated this 4.5/5.0 which is typically my minimum litmus test for trying a new restaurant but I genuinely feel it’s underrated. You have to experience their made-from-scratch Korean dishes to truly understand why this place is exceptional. Even the beef broth in my short rib soup and the delectable kimchi was home-made. Remarkable as it is, I hesitate to recommend this place to anyone raised on super salty or sugary fast foods with dulled taste buds who might not appreciate the subtle, nuanced flavors of this cuisine and consequently write an unfavorable review.“
