“Just discovered this little gem. Been looking for a pupusaria that also makes the cabbage slaw and red sauce authentically. THIS is the place! Ordered the queso con frijoles pupusas. SO DELICIOUS! Made fresh to order. Wasn't too salty, the cabbage slaw was perfectly marinated, the red sauce that goes with the dish are perfect together. Should have ordered more. Great price. Sorry didn't take pics, was so hungry I devoured it. The ladies who work there were super nice and sweet. Atmosphere very casual, they have selections of hot foods as well that looks delicous. Highly recommend.“

“Tamales, pupusas, curtido, stuffed pepper — all very delicious and prepared with love! Stopped in a couple of times already, and today I just picked up 6 tamales and 6 pupusas, and a sweet triangular item that is great too. Owners are lovely and the place is so clean! I highly recommend it!

If you’re not familiar with pupusas and don’t like that crunchy cheese from pupusas this is not for you. Get your greasy pupusas somewhere else.
I was able to Apple Pay. They take contactless cards too.“

“The staff at La Mesa did an exceptional job with catering a small gathering for our church leader's team. Even during a snowstorm, they were able to ensure that everything was prepared in a timely manner, and all of the food was outstanding! We cannot thank you enough!“
“Walked in around breakfast time and the place was empty and I was glad I got to try their chicken tamales, which I would not think of eating so early in the morning and I was so happy with them... some of the most delicious tamales I have ever eaten... the lady in the back smacking around the food she was prepping gave it an at home feel too... lol I was pleasantly pleased with the food, the parking is not easy to manage but if you can stop by or order out I am pretty sure anything you order here will be fire... lots of flavor and love going into it and it shows...

“This place makes the best popusas and cortido around. I have had popusas everywhere and this is hands down the best. Fresh and the cortido is perfect. I haven't tried the fried chicken, but everybody orders them and they look amazing. I just haven't gotten past the popusas. Oh and this place is super clean.“
“Always looking for good Domenican Food we stumbled on this place .. it was a pleasant surprise ! Delicious Food , super friendly and nice staff and the place was really clean ! Prices are great .. you can order off of a menu or get food from Buffett which they handle .. sit at counter or table ! They also deliver ... “They TECHNICALLY have bagels, but pretty sure just enough to ward off the few who mistakenly go in there, and they're probably not what you really want.
Post Ave main street definitely needs a good bagel place that isn't Dunkin.
However, if you're in the mood for some good and well priced hispanic food, this is a great option.“

“This is the only real Spanish food spot I know in Plainview, and it’s seriously incredible. The hot food tastes homemade, packed with flavor and always fresh. You can tell they put a lot of pride into what they make. Big portions, fair prices, and super friendly people behind the counter. If you’re craving authentic Spanish food, this is the place.“

“El Paso will hands down be the very top of my list. My favorite dish is the Barria tacos. Now let me say these tacos are not your run of the mill. As someone who is picky about great food I and everyone I have brought to eat their barria tacos have said the same. I’ve eaten barria all over the country and this location makes the best barria HANDS DOWN. Everyone here is amazing and kind and like family. You won’t be let down by whatever you choose“
