“This family owned business has excellent pupusas. I ordered 20 of them and they were by far the best I've ever had. The establishment is kind of hidden and recessed back in a small commercial strip. Id consider this a hidden gem for sure! The staff are very nice and friendly. I encourage anyone who hasn't tried pupusas to go and try theirs. You wont be disappointed!“

“This Restaurant is in the heart of Huntington Station. Very clean atmosphere and plenty of seating. Weekdays are more ideal for less crowd and weekends are more busy just like any eatery. Food is super fresh and they have so much variety to choose from. Sometimes I order food to go or if I'm in a rush they always have so much delicious options in the Deli section. Love that they have always fresh fruit cut ready to go and fresh juice. The staff and owner are always super accomadating to my needs. “Walked in around breakfast time and the place was empty and I was glad I got to try their chicken tamales, which I would not think of eating so early in the morning and I was so happy with them... some of the most delicious tamales I have ever eaten... the lady in the back smacking around the food she was prepping gave it an at home feel too... lol I was pleasantly pleased with the food, the parking is not easy to manage but if you can stop by or order out I am pretty sure anything you order here will be fire... lots of flavor and love going into it and it shows...Parking: Not so easy to manage“

“ive been going to this place for years. the place doesnt look like much and is usually empty. the food takes very long to get even for a takeout order usually waiting about 25-40 mins waiting for the order to be ready. another problem is the phone number that is listed for them online and in the store isnt a real phone line, its either the wrong number or the line is disconnected, it makes it impossible to call in an order for pickup so your left waiting there for a long time waiting for your order. another thing is the bathrooms are disgusting. overall i continue to go here because they have the most amazing empandas i have ever had on long island, and they are so cheap“

“Ohhhhhhhhhh, how I just LOVE "hole in the wall places like this!! Give me the choice of a "fancy pants," ultra deluxe gourmet dinner or a "questionable" hidden gem that transports you halfway around the world before you even sit down at your table, I'll go for choice B every time!! I never would have known about this place, but my sister works right around the corner and passes it every day, so with some time off for "good behavior" (winter break!!) we decided to give it a try. Where I live in Ohioooooo, there's "Mexican" food just about everywhere, but it's rare (not impossible...) to find Central American food here, so this was a nice change of pace. We walked in late on a Friday afternoon (about 2pm) and immediately felt "a gusto/en casa" in the cozy dining room, with about 4-5 booths and tables two large parties occupying the center tables. Crowded, but not cramped. Their menu is full of tempting options, we decided to go for the sampler appetizer plate (plantains, beans, avocado, chicken, beef, chicharon, yuca, a fried egg......) and three different pupusas. We had enough food for an army!! It PAYS to have at least SOME Spanish (my ONE "superpower") but the menu is easy enough to decipher, and the waitresses are super helpful. Awesome service, TONS of delicious choices, reasonable prices, and a "free" afternoon "getaway" to a wonderfully hospitable, though too often misunderstood, region of the Americas, what more could you ask for?? A return visit, THAT's what I'm needing!! Buen provecho!!“

“After seeing some of the ratings I was nervous after accidentally ordering here. However, God works in mysterious ways because I just ate the best quesadillas I've ever had. Chicken was delicious, filing, and fresh. The inside may seem slow but the kitchen is 10/10. Welcome to your new lunch break stop! Please give it a try“

Bagel Bliss Bagel shop • $

“So I mentioned to my wonderful sister (lol) that we had stopped by here for bagels on a Saturday morning and they weren't opened yet and she mentioned they get the bagels from Country Hot which we stopped at earlier but the line was halfway down the block. She mentioned to us that the Mexican / Hispanic food they served here was really good so we had to give it try. What a pleasant surprise and hidden gem this place is. Had the chicken tacos and some pupusas and they were absolutely delicious. This is definitely going to be a place I will visit frequently .Not to be overlooked is how nice and friendly the employees were. I had asked a question about the pupusas and they really took the time to in detail explain the different types. Everything was fresh and very clean inside. Nice to see autographed pics of Sunny Beach, Barry Horowitz and the Shockmaster hanging up“
