Tex's Chicken & Burgers is a great place with friendly and accommodating staff. The service is great, and everything has always been correct on orders. The food is fantastic, featuring crispy chicken and one of the best tasting burgers. The prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is halal, which is good for those who need that requirement. During the grand opening celebration, they handed out a complimentary chicken box containing a fried drumstick, two tenders and fiery wings. The coating on the tenders and drumstick was the same with small flat flakes embedded in the batter. Both were crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. The flavor of both was good, and a difference could be distinguished between light and dark meats. The fiery wings have a finer coating with the dry rub seasoning incorporated. It's paprika dominant and packs a comfortable level of heat (6/10) which is tolerable without a drink nearby but is more enjoyable with a few sips. The employees managed the lines well. Chicken lovers are recommended to visit this store and taste the food.
