Letchworth Pines American • $$
6985 Fillmore Rd, Portageville - 7.71 miles

“Last week I was in the area to experience Letchworth State Park. The day was rather drizzly so I decided to get a room nearby and hopefully would be able to enjoy the park the next day. I of course needed food and this place popped up on my gps. I am so happy it did. The food was really good. I had beef barley soup to start, the meat was tender and the barley had just the right tooth to it. I truly enjoyed it. I followed that with the beef tacos. I had the crunchy shells and I could not have been happier. The meat was perfectly seasoned to the point where no additional sauce was needed. Crispy lettuce, cheese and fresh tomatoes made it the perfect bite of spicy and fresh. The staff was so friendly, as were the "regulars". I felt completely at home there. I wish I had had more time to spend in the area because I certainly would have returned again. Did I mention the place has a room attached with a bowling alley and pool tables?? I recommend this place for so many reasons, mostly the food the new chef was putting out, ,but who doesn't love a neighborhood bar/restaurant!!! Thank you for the great food and memories...“
