“Food options in the area are minimal, finding this little place was a nice surprise. Food was good, selection was unique. Big props to the girls working there, keep it up!”
“Very nice place. Been there a few times. The only problem is the water. I'm not sure what's going on with the tap, but it tastes a little murky and cloudy. The food though has always been superb. Decent service. I'd keep going back.”
“Let me paint the picture for you. We walked in and to the left are 5 older gentleman having coffee and chatting away. Soft music playing and the bakery items right straight ahead. You know it’s a local favorite. We went headed over and found a seat. One waitress and she knew the names of the customers. She was quick to get our drinks and take our order. We had the French toast muffins. She answered all our questions and was very personable. You could tell she liked her job. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, the service was excellent. We will definitely be making the trip again to eat here.”
“We stopped here after a day on the mountain, and it did not disappoint! The food is great, as was the service! Don’t let the dive bar vibe fool you- this spot is a gem!”
“Great variety & the staff was so nice. I love that it's open year round, with winter hours usually 4-9 or similar. This visit we true the soft serve pumpkin spice. That's not my favorite as it's not very pumpkin flavored for me but it was good. Love the decor too. Outdoor seating only. But year round you can get some awesome ice cream! Because any time is the right time for ice cream! And the dogs loved their free doggy cups we took back to them!Parking: There's plenty of free parking around the building & the area.Kid-friendliness: Friendly staff, lots of choices, and it's ice cream. Does it get more kid friendly?Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible, level paved ground, staff very accommodating”
“Popped in for a quick meal enroute from Toronto to Pittsburgh. Food decent, prices right, service great.Wheelchair accessibility: Our daughter uses a wheelchair- very small bump (1-2inches) in entrance, but all one level including washrooms”
“I always buy my Mazza wine from the Zelienople store. The ladies working there are always very friendly and helpful. I use their Concord wine in my homemade Italian spaghetti Sugo. It provides the right amount of flavors. I've tried many of their flavors, and while I enjoyed just about all of them, my favorite is the Holiday Wine. Each week, I stop at the store and pick up a few bottles. The store provides taste samples so you can find out which flavors you like or dislike. It's worth stopping in! And don't forget to try that Holiday Wine! ?”
“Get the brisket and the cherry beer. Highlights of the place. Rest of the beer and meats are decent but not on the same level. Good prices and would recommend a visit.”
“I first tried their wine at a wine and music festival more than ten years ago and have been wanting to visit for about as long. Finally did and am pretty happy. I don’t think I’ve ever tried a wine there that I didn’t like. They are all light and fresh. You can tell there are no artificial flavors in their fruit or specialty wines. If I lived nearby, I’d be buying their wines often and exclusively. My rating is for their wines. The atmosphere? My rating would be about a 3/5. The person working was so nice and easy to talk to. He told us all that he knew about the wines and the area, and recommended that we come back in the summer to enjoy the deck. It is a very large building, which is great, and the deck is also huge, but it is very rustic and dark, making it feel like a really old dive bar, but maybe that’s the vibe they’re going for. A more modern rustic look and, at the very least, a good scrub/cleaning would make the interior so much nicer, in my opinion. Entering through the deck is so much easier.”
“Only found Red's a few years ago (before COVID hit). I love the food although the sausage has a flavor that doesn't appeal to me. Syrup, cakes, juice, coffee all outstanding!Parking: A basic rural dirt parking area and country roadside parking with caution”
“Great food and awesome waiters and waitresses.Vegetarian options: I always enjoy eating here. There are ample food choices for vegetarians and I did not wait longer than 15 minutes to eat.”
“Simple to get a reservation through OpenTable. Service was attentive and food was quickly prepared and wonderful. I would recommend going there for a birthday dinner....you'll see why.”
“We've been here multiple times. The service has always been great and the food is better than your average pub. They have a great variety of items to pick from, so there's something for everyone. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try if you haven't already!”
“I had fun that night. It was a Halloween party. Most dressed up in their best costume. There was even a parade. For the most original. Friends meant old friends that they hadn't seen in years. Cousins met cousins that they didn't know they had. It was a nice night all together.”
“the food is great, atmosphere wonderful and the staff even better! love this club/hotel/public bar. the folks hanging out were fun to be with. be back for wing night.”
“A wide variety of food and drink options at very reasonable prices, everyone is friendly and the place is clean. A variety of seating options. The food is delicious and served with a smile.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide entrance and level floors and several different types of seating and wheelchair options”
“The Fish Taco is AMAZING!!! The atmosphere and great service made for a perfect family night dinner on the water. We highly recommend this Gem of a spot! can't wait to go back and try more!”
“Family loved this place. Service was great as was the food. Didn't realize they had beer as well as wine, which was also a nice surprise. Will definitely visit again next time.Kid-friendliness: 9 year old daughter loved it here. Meatballs were a hit.”
“This is the best little bar I've ever been to - from owner to server to patrons - great hometown atmosphereThe patio is large, has a fire ring, and a stage and when there's live music the place rocks.Inside is cozy, and sometimes they host a paint party or other fun.Good bar food and great pours - can't be beat.”
“After waiting quite a while for his dine-in breakfast sandwich, my brother-in-law returned to the counter only to find that another customer took his order. Had he not asked, he would not have eaten.”
“This is THE BEST dairy queen around! Each staff member is nice EVERY TIME we go here. The food is always delicious and the service is fast. Thank you so much!! And congratulations management/owners you guys have built an excellent reputation!!”
“Love how it's connected to Love's. Only it a milkshake this time but I've tried the food before and I loved it so farParking: It's always got parking spots open all around the place. It's connected to a Love's so it's all in one pretty much walk right thru into Love's or vice versa”
“We were so disappointed in our food today. Husband ordered a Pittsburgh salad the French fries were stone cold as was the steak. . Lettuce was fresh!. I ordered the Harvest dinner. Another disappointment. The turkey looked dried out. Until I moved it around and what was covered with gravy was ok. Mashed potatoes and gravy was satisfactory, the stuffin was horrible. One chunk the size of s tennis ball was harder than a rock. Good thing I tested it with a fork and not with my teeth. Was suppose to get squash, apparently they were out of it. We love coming to eat at "Dutch Village" today must have been an off day for the kitchen. We will be back!”
“The pizza was excellent, I asked that they make it Canadian style, with the toppings under the cheese. The owner very friendly and the cooking staff was quick to make my food. It was very delicious, the dough was soft like fresh bread. The sauce was tasty with the pep and Italian sausage. As a truck driver I appreciate good food on the road. This place didn't disappoint. Definitely stop back again. Next time I'm getting the cookies as well.”
“Very easy and friendly somethings where a little pricey. And hot tub was down for remolding. But the was nice and the bed very comfortable I would stay again but when they have more activities going on”
“Quick loading and overnight parking allowed. I arrived Sunday afternoon for a Monday apt and the gate was closed, waited on the dirt entrance until maintenance came later Sunday night.”
“We stay in northeast often. Michael’s is my go to place! I can not recommend this place enough!!!! I love the fettuccine Alfredo and Italian bread. We forget our bread and even though they don’t deliver anymore they went out of style heir way to bring it to us. Phenomenal customer service. Michael’s is a win win for all !”
“More parking and entrance in the back of the building, if you don't want to parallel park. This subway is one of our FAVORITES and we travel the country for work!!! They are always so friendly and fast.”
“It’s a big resort but i was there in the off season for a wedding. The front desk people were fantastic. Very accommodating and cheerful. The room was clean and spacious . Coffee in the room, a frig and microwave. Bathroom was spotless. Their bar has the seats that that are low to the ground and level with the bar. drinks were on average $7. They were heavy pours though. Their dining room is spectacular . love the oak look and they have a buffet for sunday breakfast. They have a little store on premises but i would love to see this place during ski season”
“Gluten and soy-free diner here. I was introduced to this quaint lakeside ice cream shop by my new wife and her family. The first time my wife was going to bring me back some ice cream from Krasa's, the staff was not 100% certain which flavors did not contain soy. Thus, she decided to wait until we could speak with the owner. Once we made contact, we were informed that the fruit-flavors were safe for me to consume. I decided to try the strawberry, and it was delicious! The last time we went, just before the shop closed for the season, I tried the peach, and it was chock-full of fruit! I look forward to when they reopen for the 2024 season. Thank you!”
