“Been to the Lakehouse several times and this was our best experience. Let's get the negative out of the way first. God forbid you want to sit outside. They don't take reservations for outside (understood). Every time we arrive - we are told it will be 3 days (exaggeration) before a table will be available. We are seated inside. Two tables almost immediately leave plus one table is empty and obviously reserved. As a hostess, you should know who is done with dessert / ready to pay their bill. The way they handle outside seating is frustrating. All that said, our food was fabulous. The pork chop, salmon and cod - all excellent. Our server Alex, was friendly and attentive. He helped make the night as servers can do. I can't wait to eat my leftovers!“

“Shands is the coziest & most beautiful spot! The ambiance and service was so warm & welcoming upon entering. We had a seat up in front for some prime people watching on the Patchogue strip - it's such a nice change from the Brick House to have those front window tables! Extra points when the windows are open on nice days.

The craftsmanship in each cocktail, appetizer, entree, and dessert are obvious at first glance and later at first bite/sip. I also appreciate the quality offerings of the mocktail menu so those of us that don't drink can still enjoy a social tonic 🫶🏽

“I want to start by saying the buffalo chicken egg rolls are the best and I mean THE BEST Buffalo chicken egg rolls I have ever had. I got garlic parm wings as my main and they were also delicious. Came on a weekend and it was very busy with live music so make reservations!“

“The tasty food options are always changing, with some favorite staples remaining. The cocktails are also seasonal, which I love. Ambience is cozy and quirky. They're in between locations right now so no liquor license, but they let us know ahead of time and we were more than happy to BYOB (and in my case a premixed Manhattan—they provided me with a coupe glass and ice to shake my cocktail). Looking forward to checking them out on Main Street soon.“

“My Husband and I stumble across this place tonight and couldn’t be happier about it! From the moment we walked through the door on a busy Saturday night at 7:00pm we walk in simply based on a great name! The hostess Deanna was lovely and welcoming we were able to sit right away! The food was absolutely amazing and so were the drinks!! But the star of the show was the staff our waitress Emily was the best we have ever had! Just the right amount of attentive that we never looked for her and always felt taking care up. The busser also did an amazing job never a dirty plate on our table. We go out alot and I can’t remember the last time a restaurant covered it all flawlessly Service drinks and food. We have already texted friend excited to bring them here! Can’t wait to come back keep up the amazing work!“

“We had a very nice meal here back in October. Our server, Shannon, was outstanding and took excellent care of us. The location is fantastic, sitting right on the water and made for a very pleasant meal. We had the calamari appetizer (very good), the Sauteed Flounder, which was okay and not worth $40, and the Gourmet Burger. I thoroughly enjoyed the burger. Since we came over on our boat, we weren't drinking, but the bar area looked pretty cool. We will come back again.“

“Came here for Sunday of the holiday weekend. Great atmosphere and awesome service. There were two bartenders, both super friendly. The guy bartender was dressed in an awesome 4th costume, and made us the BEST rocket fuels. I would come again just for him. He made our experience amazing and was not only friendly but very accommodating. Come here!!!“

“Sui's is a solid choice for standard chinese- american food. As a spare ribs, broccoli and fried rice guy, I can say that Sui's does the 'regular' dishes aa well as pretty much anyone else - glad that they are my neighborhood chinese place.“

“I took my mom here as I wanted to take her out on a date together. My mom deserves to get out and enjoy the lovely weather we have been getting up in the Long Island area. We came to this spot (by the way it's called "American Standard"). I think the bar/restaurant change the name.This spot offers live music, we enjoyed a guitarist play during the course of our stay here.We ordered the alligator fritters as our appetizer and catfish poh boy with a burger that had all kinds of galore in it.The food was fantastic, very delicious. The alligator fritters was phenomenal. It's rare to find a bar/restaurant to offer alligator in this area as there aren't any alligators or crocodiles nearby. It was well cooked, not dry. The dish presentation was cute.The meal was very filling as the burgers came with fries or side salad. The poh boy came with the same option, but my mom ordered salad. The food portions were perfect.The spot also offers a wide selection of alcohol, including many choices of craft beer. I highly recommend coming here to have a good time. It's very causal.“

Parking: Use your GPS to find it, I could have never found it on my own. It’s a quiet little spot. Very busy on weekend nights during the summer!“
