“My mother in law and I went to Beacon to celebrate our birthdays and chose the diner for our lunch. They have a wide selection of food on the menu. I had the farmers breakfast wrap and home fries. Mom had her eggs and lox. We didn't see it on the menu but asked the waitress if it was available and she said sure. We were very happy with the service, quality of the food and the prices.Wheelchair accessibility: It's a small diner with a ramp for a wheelchair, walker and stroller accessibility. I didn't walk around much through the interior as we were seated next to the entrance. I cannot verify the comfort level of spacing throughout the restaurant. The bathroom was accessible.“
“We unexpectedly stumbled upon this diner when looking for somewhere to eat on our ride home to Jersey. This diner is worth a stop on your list!It was so cute inside-everything was decorated with cool posters on the walls, even the bathrooms and spunky light fixtures covered the ceiling. There was a "soda shop" area, a "bakery" area, and a bar with some seating. They had a decent amount of booths/bar chairs -only half of which were open when we were there, but seems like that depends on the time you go.I got a lunch special -Mac and cheese & pulled pork grilled cheese, it was amazing. Also ordered were a chicken sandwich, eggs Benedict, and a "down under" burger, all of which came out great. We tried a cream soda and headed back on the road with our black and white cookies (only one pictured because I ate mine too fast) ?Everything is very clean, prices are great, atmosphere is very welcoming, service was goodWe would go back again!“
“I love this place so much. It takes patience sometimes because they get super busy since they're so amazing and well priced. They treat you like family even the first time you come in. The waitress whom I call "mama" is the absolute sweetest person alive. Definitely stop in if you're looking for a great meal on a budget.“
“This review is a year late. Last year I planned my best friends engagement party here after calling so many other restaurants and places. The owner was beyond accommodating and the price to rent the very spacious room was one of the best rates I could find locally. We only had a group of 25 for the party but this room was big enough for over 50 easily. The owner was very nice and worked with me trying to figure out the best menu. He was attentive and would come in the room frequently to check on if the food needed to be replenished and if we needed anything. I would recommend this for any small or medium size parties especially because of how easy and stress free the owner made it. “Most of the time we order breakfast here even for lunch or dinner. Food is always fresh, well prepared and portions are generous. Garden omelet is a favorite. We ordered a burger deluxe today. Huge, well prepared burger, very special fries, lettuce, fresh tomato slices, cole slaw and pickle. Delicious and affordable.Highly recommend.“
“Stopped on my way back home to NYC and what a little gem of a diner. It was empty at 8pm which was good for me. We were greeted right away and very pleasantly unlike some places you go and the person seems like they dont even want to escort you to your seats.Server said sit anywhere you’d like.Gave us water right away and he was very attentive to any of our needs.Ordered a sunnyside burger with bacon and it was delicious along with waffle fries, if any complaint I can make but its more of a suggestion, cut the tomato slice way way thinner, this way the tomato doesnt overwhelm the burger. I found my tomato slice to be super thick and didnt eat it. Again, just a suggestion. Very happy with my burger.Wife ordered steak quesadillas and what we liked is that he gave her the option of placing the veggies inside the quesadilla or just outside with the salad. She loved her quesadilla.Overall impressed with everything, server was great, i am guessing the older man is the boss and he was great as well.Recommended.“
“I went here multiple times for breakfast, the first time my server Ashley was top notch, I highly recommend asking for her, the second time they were less attentive buy were quick to rectify the fact that we were eating dairy free, the toast came buttered when we told them dry, but they never hesitated to correct their mistakes and I got multiple buttered toast without charge for me since my wife and daughter eat dairy free. great service and delicious food, just need to be accurate awhen orderingDietary restrictions: they were very accommodating with the dietary Restrictions of wife and daughter. we will definitely be eating here whenever we're in the area.Kid-friendliness: they made a very specific fruit plate for my daughter with no extra charge and to me that earned them alot of respect and admiration from me“
