“We were a group of 24 on Nov 1. Location was convenient for the theater. Service was great, food was excellent and portions were more than generous. Chicken salad, pot pie and corned beef Reuben burgers were some of the favorites. Special thanks to Jessica for taking such good care of us!“

“I would give KVD 5 stars all day for their food and service. We had French Toast and eggs, bacon, home fries and toast today and it was great. Juan was our server and he was very attentive and courteous.
But…the cleanliness this time was not great. The walls in our booth and others, as I observed really need a wipe down as well as the wooden partition ledges between the booths. They were dusty and super sticky. We killed two out of five flies that were buzzing around our meal the entire time.
Things happen …and that’s why we will be back but hopefully after a better managed cleaning schedule.“

“The Red Hook diner is so good! Egg creams, gravy fries, heaping sandwiches. Can't get this at West Coast diners - they just look at you funny. The Red Hook diner never disappounts.

Had breakfast there yesterday and today. Corned beef hash n eggs w an English muffin. 🔥 I always stop at the rh diner. It's a classic diner. ❤❤❤“

“My wife and I ate there for the first time. Food was very good and plentiful. Service could have been a smidgen better. Waitress was nice and polite but should have checked at least once for drink refills. I tried to make reservations for my car club to come there on a given Sunday and time in May, about 10 of us, but was told they don't do that. I guess it's first come, first serve for seating. We want to eat together and would arrive about 1:30PM. I thought we could secure the back room, but no was the answer. It's ok. I understand. No hard feelings. If we were in that area again, we would eat there. We'll just look for another place in Rosendale. Best wishes to that facility.“

“The staff here is very warm and welcoming and while the store front presents a little plain janeish, the food was wonderful! I would highly recommend a meal here...it doesnt disappoint and for those looking for healthier options there wasplenty to choose from.“

“Went on 4/6/26. I enjoyed the Big Breakfast meal, with Chocolate Chip Pancakes (last time I had Chocolate Chip Pancakes at all prior to 3/31/26 was likely when I was still living in Connelly, NY back from 2004 to 2007), Bacon, Sausage, and Home Fries. I will definitely be coming here again to try out other things in the near future.“
