Pretty good for beginners (this is coming from a beginner)! Took the outer loop trail and took me 45 mins (2mi) and yes it takes you all the way in a loop. Lovely trail that is a good way to pass the time. Easy hike that we took at a leisurely walking pace, minimal slopes except for a picnicing area. It's a beautiful place near the environmental center. We did see lots of wildlife and birds even with the rain. It does get overgrown in parts so I would emphasize dressing for the possibility of ticks. Good shade throughout most of the trail as well. I would recommend this for families too.
