This place has amazing food has the best Jamaican food on this side of the river. I love their rice and peas it is my favorite thing about the menu. Keeps me coming back for more. I’m here at least twice a week picking up a lunch for work the food is prepared very well and they have a lot of healthy options. They offered sour sop and they even have jars of sea moss on display the food is holistic and will keep you feeling alive.
Marcia and Earl, the owners, are two of the kindest people and very welcoming! My husband and I stopped in, both eating vegetarian, and they were able to provide us with an excellent meal. We got a plate of curry chickpeas, rice and peas, plantains, and steamed veggies, with a side of festival and I would eat it again in a heartbeat. The curry chickpeas in particular were outstanding. Fresh, made to order, and so flavorful. Will be back time and time again!
The food is amazing and incredibly affordable. The owners, Marcia and Earl, are wonderful folks who clearly go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Highly, highly recommended - it is basically impossible not to become a regular!
