“Oh what a lovely experience! There are little gifts for the Who-fandom scattered throughout the space, which is so welcoming and airy. I spent ages just looking around and fangirling! The person who took our orders was so sweet and so knowledgeable and we loved everything we ordered. They have vegan, vegetarian and GF options so it’s really inclusive. The teas are delicious - we had the Jammy Dodger and it was just perfection. Such a special experience! I can’t wait to go back!“

“If you want great tasting, authentic Jamaican food, Sophia’s Homestyle Café is the place to go!! They have amazing homemade juices/punch such as, carrot punch, peanut punch, sorrel, Irish moss, carrot juice, and beet root juice. Some of my favorite foods from Sophia’s Homestyle Café includes, peanut porridge, carrot porridge, the fried chicken, the stew, peas, the goat soup, fried dumpling and with ackee and salt fish,and brown stew fish with rice and peas… The list truly could go on, but I think you get the drift! Order a small, medium or large platter with choice of main and select sides. Goat Curry, with rice and beans, mac n’ cheese and cabbage — solid though served a bit more room temperature than desired. Other mains include fried and jerk chicken, oxtails.

“The shrimp Rasta pasta is really so good also the Mac and cheese .. But I can’t say the same abt the oxtail plate I got with rice and peas and yams …. Expensive dish to only get 4 small oxtails .. the yams was flavorless the best thing was rice peas even tho it coulda some more gravy. But I’m willing to always give another chance“

“This place has amazing food has the best Jamaican food on this side of the river. I love their rice and peas it is my favorite thing about the menu. Keeps me coming back for more. I’m here at least twice a week picking up a lunch for work the food is prepared very well and they have a lot of healthy options. They offered sour sop and they even have jars of sea moss on display the food is holistic and will keep you feeling alive.“
