Many quality ingredients made the flavors really pop.
The portion was large. They separated the noodles from the soup for takeout.

Deng Ji offers great food with unique takeout containers for noodles and amazing fried dumplings. The fish soup noodles were slightly disappointing, but portions are decent. The noodle soup comes in a clay pot to keep it warm, while the papaya salad is interesting and delicious. The BBQ skewers were tasty but a bit oily. The restaurant has become a consistent Yunnanese option that locals enjoy, adding to Flushing's rich regional Chinese food scene. The service is fast and prompt, although it can get very busy in the small, bright, and modern space, especially around dinner time. Customers appreciate the comforting experience and the well-presented dishes with big portions. Rice noodles, particularly the guo qiao rice noodles and guan guan rice noodles, are a highlight, authentic to their region and not common in many parts of the country. Parking is available nearby, making it a good choice for a satisfying meal, especially on a cold winter day.
