Came here for the shugo chara pop up and the service was super nice with really fun decorations! Taste of the collab food was what you expect from any character cafe (nothing special) but we are here for the pictures not the taste.
I had a better experience than expected. The food aesthetics and overall atmosphere pales in comparison to popular permanent themed cafes in Japan (Mario, Kirby, Pokémon), but I am extremely grateful that there is an anime cafe that does NOT require a plane flight, crazy reservation system, or taking time out of a busy itinerary. Hey I was there today I loved it, the food was amazing I ordered a Lewi's Omni directional mobility my only critique I would say is that it would perfect if there was a third shrimp to help with eating all the rice and vegetables with. 🙂 Thank you Jerry for checking up on me when I was having a coughing fit I drank water and it went down the wrong section of my throat which caused me to cough a lot. Dimension Poptown is a restaurant that offers a themed cafe experience. The service is super nice, and the decorations are really fun and lovely. The atmosphere is great, and the building decor brings so much joy. The food aesthetics and overall atmosphere may pale in comparison to popular permanent themed cafes in Japan, but it is a place that does not require a plane flight, crazy reservation system, or taking time out of a busy itinerary. The food options are nice and varied. The Titan spaghetti is roughly $25 with the service charge included; the meatballs were crisp and slightly sweet, meat chunks were plentiful in the meat sauce, and the portion size was large. The Levi Curry, Levi’s Tea, and Lewi's Omni directional mobility are also mentioned, and the drinks were amazing. With an order you get a random placemat. The bathroom is very clean and nice, and everyone is so kind, friendly, and welcoming, always attentive. The merch is high quality and hard to get anywhere else. One star was taken off because a small bug was found on the food, on one of the potatoes deep in the sauce of a curry dish. The place is worth coming to at least once for anime fans, and highly recommended for anime lovers, though a long trip solely for the cafe is not recommended.
