About Dumpling Xi

Located on the corner of Prince street, Dumpling Xi is a small spot with high ceilings and an aesthetic mostly the color red. The menu has very little to choose from, and food comes out on plastic dishes. Despite this, the absolute best dumplings can be found here. There is a great variety of dumpling options, prepared steamed or pan fried. They are juicy inside and should be eaten like soup dumplings. The dumplings are excellent, somehow both light and filling, and very flavorful. Other delicious dishes include curry chicken leg with bean curd and Shanghai veggies. The chicken leg is incredibly tender, and the fish cakes and eggs are perfect. The fish hot soup and chicken leg hot soup are deeply comforting, perfect for cold nights. Service is impressively attentive without being intrusive, with warm friendly service. The prices are extremely fair. The entire experience feels very easy. A perfect cold-night stop when needing warmth in a bowl. Highly recommend.
