Growing up in the community, famous and Singas used to be the center of elmhurst. People used to travel from different states to try this unique take on pizza. However, with time all good things come to an end. There is no more singas here but famous still stands but only as a shell of its former self. The crust is dry and the dough nonexistent (ie flat cardboard like base) the sauce has no taste and the cheese thinned out. The flavor is hit or miss (but on most days it’s a miss, unfortunately). I wish that wasn’t the case but it is.

Had this pizza since the year 2000. I was finally back on 05/27/24. Good memories during high school at New Town.
I am extremely disappointed with my in store purchase today. I ordered a souvlaky pita. After I waite for 30 minutes, and complained about the waiting time, I finally got my order. I have to mention that, the store was empty when I got there. I took my pita home, and started eating it. The pita was cold! I live only a block away from there, and it's 70 degrees outside so it has no chance to cool off. The meat was very chewy, I wasn't able to eat it at all. I had to throw it out. If I were not too tired, I would have taken back and make them eat it. It's a shame.

Love this place! For thin crust pizza in Elmhurst that offers both dine-in and delivery options, consider checking out elmhurst famous Pizza. They offer small-sized pizzas that are perfect for kids and have a reputation for delicious thin crust pies. And must try the French fries!! One order is good for two people easily!!

Legacy Business but these guys are beyond incompetent. Tells me to wait 3x to pay because he's a little overwhelmed. I respect his space and patiently wait there for 20+ minutes while he tells me the order is ready for the last 20 minutes. Wild audacity.Then proceeds to tell me that it's been ready why didn't you say something. Dude is a joke. Never returning.
