This workers here are very rude and they told you to wait 20minutes then it ended up they dont make your food yet after 20minutes of waiting.

Elmhurst Famous Pizza, located at 8307 Broadway, Elmhurst N.Y., is a pizzeria, that I would not recommend, for anyone to go to. I waited outside the pizzeria, way past opening time, and one of the employees inside the pizzeria, purposely ignored me, when I knocked on the door, to find out the reason for the delayed opening. After being purposely ignored when I knocked, I called the pizzeria. The same employee, purposely ignored my phone call. After a half hour went by, and he decided to open the restaurant, I asked him, why did he purposely ignore me, when I was just trying to find out why the opening was so delayed. The employee's response to me was, "I don't want to speak to the customers". That was very rude, and very unprofessional. The employee, also laughed, and said he didn't care, when I told him, that I was going to report his rude behavior, to his supervisor. I was very upset, by the disrespectful way, that I was treated by that employee. I am giving Elmhurst Famous Pizza, a very bad review. I recommend to all, do not go, to that pizzeria. You'd be better off, going to another pizza place, where staff, are more respectful, to customers.

Legacy Business but these guys are beyond incompetent. Tells me to wait 3x to pay because he's a little overwhelmed. I respect his space and patiently wait there for 20+ minutes while he tells me the order is ready for the last 20 minutes. Wild audacity.Then proceeds to tell me that it's been ready why didn't you say something. Dude is a joke. Never returning.

Today 1/16/2024 call in for take out at 2:45pm for their lunch special(11am-3pm), over the phone cashier never mention need to be at store by 3pm. Got there at 3:20pm to pick up order and advise need to be at store by 3pm. Left a bad taste, rethinking about going again next time.

Been here since the jit. I use to live around there. Everytime I would go do laundry with my mom, we would always stop by this pizzeria. Best place to go to since 2009. Coming back

Local pizza place that we hadnt tried and figured why not! Must be "Famous" for a reason right? Sort of wrong. Sadly. The pizza is not worth the prize, 10 in pan pizza that does have a crusted bottom but all the ingredients are canned or lacking. The mushrooms are canned mushrooms, they barely put pepperoni or sausage so for $17 you're mostly paying for bread, tomato sauce, pepper and onion. The shish kebab on the other hand was the real winner. I would come back for that which is ironic for a pizza place but it was actually really good- not reheated meat but fresh and tender. We waited about 20 min for a pizza but now we know we'll probably just call ahead and order for take out.

I was excited to try this pizza. I thought it was going to be a typical New York slice joint, but they don’t sell slices here only personal pan pizza. The ambience is quiet surprising even though the area is very busy, but I had a nice time waiting and looking out the window. the ? guy in the front was offputting. Used to come here often whenever I visited my grandfather as a kid, I really wish they opened more areas than just Elmhurst, if anything this is the best pizza I’ve ever had out of all popular pizza chains I’ve tried! I still order from here a few times a month
