“Great place! We have been in NYC for a week now, this was, the best meal we have had here! Food is just delicious and atmosphere is great. Very clean place. I would like to recommend this little Polish restaurant to everyone! Worth jumping on a subway! defo!“

“Po kilkudniowym pobycie w NYC i zwiedzaniu Brooklynu, zatęskniliśmy za polską kuchnią. Obiad w Pierożku to był strzał w 10. Zamówiliśmy pierogi ruskie i z kapustą i z grzybami. Pyszne jak u mamy albo babci. Ciasto cieniutkie. Smaczny farsz. Po prostu świeże I domowe. Mały ogródeczek. Polskojęzyczna, sympatyczna obsługa. W łazience przewijak dla dzieci. Zdecydowanie polecam i serdecznie pozdrawiam przemiłą ekipę " Pierożka".“

“went with my husband and son to eat here for the first time today. they were incredibly busy on a Saturday. if you're gonna come here it's best to make reservations this way you're not waiting at,least a half hour for a table. once seated, service was fairly quick and waiters are super nice. food was good and not expensive for the quantity you get. it's one of the few authentic polish places, left in Brooklyn. definitely recommend. we will be returning!“

“The service was great. As soon as I walked in I was greeted. You have to order at the register and pick up your food there, when it's ready. Then sit down at one of the many tables to eat. I also went to the rest room and it was clean. I was the only black person, but treated the same as anyone else. I ordered the polish platter (mashed potatoes, sausage, 4 chicken stuffed dumplings, stuffed cabbage with rice and ground meat with sauce on top, 2 potato latkes and the cabbage with meat). I had to ask for the sour cream for the latkes. The food was good, but I've had better. The stuffed cabbage wasn't nearly as good as the one that I purchased at a Polish restaurant in Manhattan. I ordered the blintzes. I ordered strawberry on the cashiers recommendation and I also ordered the cheese one. They come with apple sauce and sour cream. I meant to take a picture but forgot. The cheese flavor was good the strawberry one is really good. The price is decent at $24 for the platter (at the time of writing this). The blintzes is $12. You get to pick 2 out of 3 flavors (strawberry, blueberry or cheese). They do not mix the flavors together in one blintz. I also like the way they wrap it. They enclosed the crepe among itself on all sides (hiding the filling), unlike most places which leave the crepe open.“
“The meatballs, kielbasa, kraut, beets, and mushroom/cabbage pierogi were authentic and delicious. First time customer and we will be back!“

“I order a turkey and it was really good a bit dry and very fair price but the only reason I would give it a 3 or 4 star is the wait in line. And customers are constantly getting out of line to grab more items and coming back to the same spot, even on the counter this lady kept going back and forth getting items and making this that much longer.“

“The absolute best, and great service too, a can't miss combo, explains why it's been a fixture for so long. We have moved out of the neighborhood but come back for our pierogi fix, recommend anyone“

“Came across this place few weeks ago and had to give it a try. Honestly, the food is tasty no doubt. I tried the Potato and cheese Pierogies, chicken noodles soup and finished it off with their yummy cream puff.Other note: kudos to the staff very polite! ?“

“Whenever I’m feeling lazy and don’t want to cook, this place is my go-to. Their steam bar is a steal..$14 gets you a massive plate with three sides and a main. Honestly, it’s enough for two people to split for lunch or dinner!
My only struggle? I have no idea what half the dishes are. The ladies behind the counter aren’t the friendliest….maybe because I’m not Polish? Who knows. So every visit turns into a fun little game of ‘point and hope for the best.’
I just wish they were a bit more approachable so I didn’t have to panic-order every time. But hey, at least it keeps things exciting“
