“went with my husband and son to eat here for the first time today. they were incredibly busy on a Saturday. if you're gonna come here it's best to make reservations this way you're not waiting at,least a half hour for a table. once seated, service was fairly quick and waiters are super nice. food was good and not expensive for the quantity you get. it's one of the few authentic polish places,left in Brooklyn. definitely recommend. we will be returning!“

“We had a great time at restaurant retro. From the old polish movies playing on the tv to the decor it was looking back at old greenpoint and Poland.
Always love to get Polish soups and the Zucchini and white borscht soups did not disappoint. Portion sizes were huge and zucchini soup tastes very fresh.
Sounds silly but the homemade pickles were my favorite with fresh cucumber, pepper and cabbage perfectly sour and crisp with nice toasted bread.
The polish plate and Hungarian pancake were hearty and filling, a perfect comfort food.
Would happily return here as they bring all the best flavors of polish cuisine in a relaxing setting.“

The lady who served us was very nice and helpful;) The decor in the style of the Polish People's Republic also attracts attention... For a store selling such goods, the prices are quite low.
