“My wife and I are seasoned foodies, but we have never tried Polish food. During a recent NYC trip, our Polish friends took us to the Polish neighborhood in Brooklyn and we were very lucky to have stopped by Restaurant Relax.
From the moment we walked in, the restaurant felt warm and welcoming. We have never visited Poland, but it was like stepping into a restaurant in the country itself. The charming decorations and cozy atmosphere set the perfect vibe for a wonderful meal in a cold winter day. There were so many tempting options on the menu, so we asked our friends for any recommendations and ended up ordering a little bit of everything. Though we over-ordered, we couldn't have been happier with our experience.
Every dish was absolutely delicious, from the borscht and crispy kielbasa to the stuffed cabbage and cauliflower soup. We even paired our meal with a refreshing Polish beer. Not to mention, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and provided us with a wonderful dining experience.
The only downside is that we live 2.5 hours away, so we can’t visit as often as we’d like. If you're ever in Brooklyn, Restaurant Relax is a must-visit. Amazing food, amazing people, and amazing service. Restaurant Relax, Dziękuję bardzo!“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic Polish restaurant in Brooklyn and I must say, it exceeded all of my expectations. The cafeteria-style setup made it easy to choose from a variety of delicious homemade dishes, all of which were generous portions at a great value.
The food itself was absolutely delicious, with authentic Polish flavors that reminded me of home. Pyzy were a standout for me but the veil kotlet was ???. The customer service was also top-notch, with friendly staff members who were quick to answer any questions and make recommendations.“

“Just came here for the first time and loved it, I’ll be back. The waiter was very friendly, the food was delicious. The place is set up nice, there are tables and booths, they have a nice looking bar as well, but a bar/restaurant, very family friendly. They have those nice tin ceiling tiles in white and pretty stained glass on the windows by the door. They’re decorated for the holidays and it looks great! I ordered the red borsht with meat dumplings. The flavor of the meat was so rich and delicious. I’d get it again! Mom ordered eggs over easy with kasha and sausage links, she loved it and it looked great. It came with a little side salad too. A great spot!
Parking: It can be hard to find a spot every now and then but I usually do after a little while. Also it’s not far from the train station.
Kid-friendliness: A family friendly spot.“

“Very good place to have a lunch or dinner. Nice friendly staff“
“Amazing store! I finally ate something with taste? Everything was fresh and very tasty. In the store you can find cold meats, cheeses, everything from Poland?? The lady who served us was very nice and helpful;) The decor in the style of the Polish People's Republic also attracts attention... For a store selling such goods, the prices are quite low.
I recommend! I'll be back there by ? ;)“

“Po kilkudniowym pobycie w NYC i zwiedzaniu Brooklynu, zatęskniliśmy za polską kuchnią. Obiad w Pierożku to był strzał w 10. Zamówiliśmy pierogi ruskie i z kapustą i z grzybami. Pyszne jak u mamy albo babci. Ciasto cieniutkie. Smaczny farsz. Po prostu świeże I domowe. Mały ogródeczek. Polskojęzyczna, sympatyczna obsługa. W łazience przewijak dla dzieci. Zdecydowanie polecam i serdecznie pozdrawiam przemiłą ekipę " Pierożka".“
