This place has been around in Flushing for a while, and their rice noodles are still pretty good. That said, the broth could be richer—it used to have a deeper flavor, but now it feels a bit lighter and could probably be cooked a little longer. They recently launched some set meals, and for two people it came out to just over $50.

I was eating in the store around 2 pm on the 22nd and I found some iron wire in the noodles. My friends who were traveling with me didn’t want to leave a tip, so they chased after me (they said they had already given you a replacement and a drink). Isn’t this the way it should be? We can understand that this tip is for the person who serves the food. The problem is with the dishwasher or the chef! This negative review is for this store

The amount of rice noodles is reduced than before! The service attitude is not enthusiastic. We asked for extra rice noodles and a man rolled his eyes at me. This makes me speechless... It is required to tip 18% after checkout, and tipping culture has become mandatory. habits

Shimiaodao Noodle Shop in central Flushing is a true haven for noodle lovers. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by the comforting aroma of rich, simmering broth and the warm smiles of the staff. This authentic noodle shop serves up some of the best noodles I've ever had, and it's clear that each bowl is made with a deep respect for traditional cooking methods.
The noodles themselves are nothing short of amazing, perfectly cooked to achieve that ideal balance of chewiness and softness. You can tell that these noodles are made with care, from selecting the finest ingredients to the precise cooking techniques that lock in their incredible flavor. They soak up the hearty, flavorful broth beautifully, creating a dish that's both satisfying and delicious.
I had the Picked Pepper Sliced Beef Noodles and the Tomato with Sliced Beef Rice Noodles, and both were out of this world. The beef was tender and full of flavor, complementing the noodles perfectly. The variety of options on the menu is also impressive, catering to those who love to explore different tastes.
And don't even get me started on the appetisers, they're absolutely to die for. Each one is prepared with the same attention to detail, offering a burst of flavors that will leave you wanting more. The employees are kind and attentive, adding to the overall exceptional experience at Shimiaodao. If you’re in Flushing and looking for a place that truly understands how to make noodles sing, this is it.
Lots of brisket! The sausage is delicious! Very real! The taste is exactly the same as that in China. There is no deviation. The quantity is large and affordable. The price/performance ratio is really high.

It's delicious. I ate here when I went to New York a month ago. The taste and price are not much different from a similar restaurant in Dongdan, Beijing.

The first time I ate Ten Seconds Guoqiao Rice Noodles was when I was traveling in Kunming, Yunnan. I didn’t expect to be able to eat such traditional and authentic Guoqiao Rice Noodles in New York. In Flushing, where prices are constantly rising, one bowl of rice noodles is so filling. Crossing the Bridge Rice Noodles only costs $10-$12 USD, and the snacks are also very popular at a reasonable price! Super delicious, great service, and very clean. Anyway, I will go there often! Highly recommended! ?

Dayum, this stuff was good. I didn't know what to expect because I've never had this style of food before. It's basically pre-designed hot pot and brought to you in a sizzling bowl that is large enough to share, if that is something you'd want to do. We ordered the vinegar black fungus and preserved egg with tofu. Both were great and spicy, due to hot @$$ chillies they put into the seasoning, which was completely unexpected. I got 1 of their 3 new dry bodies dishes, which I don't remember the name but was the one with the tripe & added beef to my order. My food was a 10; wife for the tomato hotpot, she gave it a 7; daughter had the rib, gave it a 8; sister had the chicken, 8. Service-wise, very attentive and friendly. Oh, extra rice noodles for your hot pot is free! My son fell asleep and offered to let him sleep on the last bench/table setup (who allows this?). High rating, good experience from me and hope you experience the same.

The food, atmosphere, and service are beyond the scale. First off, the rice noodles are just incredibly good, with my favorite being the braised pork rice noodle. I just can’t get enough of it! Second, the atmosphere is authentically amazing. Walking in feels like entering a cozy Chinese household, filled with the aroma of delicious Chinese food. Lastly, the waiters were very nice, and at the end, they even gave us a sweet and semi-sour drink to finish our meal! A well-deserved 5 stars!
P.S. I don’t usually write reviews?
