Sodam restaurant offers excellent food that is not too greasy or fatty. The menu features a variety of dishes, including the famous K chicken wings, buckwheat cold noodles, pork ribs, soondubu, spicy pork with rice skillet, and marinated soy and garlic wings. Customers appreciate the warm and spicy flavors of the meals. The restaurant provides fantastic service and is a great choice for lunch or dinner.
The restaurant is fairly big, with lots of space and a casual, cozy atmosphere. The ddukbokki pasta cheese skillet is tasty and comforting, though cheesier and with less sauce than some diners might prefer. There's plenty of bacon and Italian sausage, and while the ddukbokki is soft, it could be chewier. This dish is a large portion, good for sharing. The star is the deliciously refreshing makguksu, served with crisp veggies and a tangy, red pepper-flecked sauce, providing a lovely contrast to heavier cheese skillets. The staff is friendly and just the right amount of attentive, with a call button for service.
Authentic Korean food is served, and the Spicy Stir-fried Chicken and Kimchi Fried Rice Skillet is a perfect dish to share, with cheese mixing well with the rice and chicken. The Makguksu and Jeyuk Bokkeum were both delicious and flavorful, and prices are reasonable considering the large portions. Fried chicken is super crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Kimchi fried rice with cheese on the side features very stringy cheese that complements the dish perfectly. The restaurant is usually not too crowded, making it a nice place for a meal. Although service can be slow, the staff is nice and attentive, ensuring a great dining experience.
