The grilled fish with stinky tofu was a surprisingly delicious combination. The fish was tender and flavorful, while the stinky tofu soaked up the rich, spicy broth beautifully. Although the aroma is bold, the taste is incredibly satisfying. The broth was packed with chili, peppercorns, and deep savory flavors that paired perfectly with steamed rice. Variety of choices and specialty soup base with ingridients in large portion. Loved the fried lotus pancake and fried pork. The sidedish bar is charged by head count as $3 per person, its reasonable with many great choices and meat cold dishes included as well. Came here for hotpot and honestly the meat was the highlight. The beef was super tender and flavorful, and you can tell the quality is there. The red oil broth smells amazing and has that rich, fragrant spice without being overwhelming.
