It is a favorite bao spot, considered the best bun shop with the best quality meat and best fresh veggies. The buns are superb, delicious, not too salty, and always at the perfect, not too hot temperature. The pork bun and beef bun are the best and highly recommended; the signature pork bun is super juicy and tender with a slightly sweetened skin. The spicy tofu bao has perfect spiciness and flavored tofu cubes. The beef and spicy chicken buns have a good amount of filling and are piping hot. The shop also offers youtiao, a sticky rice bowl with very flavorful broth, good rice platters, and drinks like Thai iced tea. Everything is a great price for the portion, making it great for an affordable breakfast or lunch. The workers are very respectful and sweet. The shop is quiet and clean, though hidden away and without much decoration. They take cash and credit card with no minimum purchase.
