“I LOVE SEEING, GOING TO AND EATJNG AT ZABIHA HALAL RESTAURANTS.
Tried a few items and the freshness was amazing. Parking is easily available. Cozy and comfortable seating area. Great witb privacy area for families. Kebabs were juicy. Rice were well cooked and finished with green tea (which should be complimentary like many other restaurants who provide either complimentary bread or tea) it wiuld be a nice change, not an expensive option at all.“

“Ali is a welcoming host and server. The (vegetarian) food was delicious!! We got the vegetarian sampler which was tasty and filling for two of us. Plus he advised us that the rice is not vegetarian so we had the delicious bread instead! How thoughtful. This is a small restaurant that deserves a big reputation! The price was quite reasonable. I no longer live in Astoria but make the very long drive to enjoy my absolute favorite Afghan food - probably ever. The food is so authentic and the flavors have never changed! I highly recommend their rice dishes especially the chicken kebab. My husband always gets the combo it’s so much food for a reasonable price. The ownership has never changed it tells you a lot about the place. Please don’t ever leave 💛💛“

“Extremely cozy little place. Food is fantastic, but I have to give a special shoutout to the owner, who will immediately make you feel like an old friend welcoming you to his home. It’s hard not to leave with a smile on your face, but that aside, everything is delicious. The Kabuli Palow is a big highlight.“

“I worked with Kabob Shack to feed about 50 folks during a community event in Williamsburg. To start, I appreciated their community-oriented approach. They were really flexible, supportive of the organization, and responsive to our dietary needs & timeline.

The employees are kind and helpful. The food was delicious! We got plates for those who eat chicken and falafel plates for folks who didn't eat meat. Both plates had rice, salad, pita, and chickpeas in a tomato sauce. Folks felt nourished and satisfied. The plates had enough for lunch & to snack on later! The sauces were delicious - some folks even asked to take them home with them at the end of the day. The food felt fresh, made with love, and good flavors for sure! Thank you!

“Tucked away in the corner of the lot and not that visible from the road but man they make some delicious halal food. We got platters, chicken nuggets and salad and it was all so damn delicious.

Their prices are very fair given the high quality if their food it's like restaurant grade in my opinion. They have a vast menu and something for everyone. Convenient parking lot right outside. Come and try them out you'll be glad you did.“
