“I lost hope in finding a place with actual GOOD penne alla vodka until we tried Stumpys last week. I thought I could only get quality penne alla vodka when we visit family in Long Island but Stumpys impressed me so much, it’s probably the best I’ve ever had!! Pizza was also great! 😍 We finally found our new go to pizza place!“

“New restaurant in the area. Delicious food. The atmosphere itself is more like a diner than an Italian bistro cafe, nonetheless the food was delicious.

Started off with glass of wine.

For appetizer we started with the eggplant napoleon. I would very much recommend. Great flavor. Very good red sauce.

They provided grilled bread with olive oil and balsamic. There was definitely a hint of truffle. Wife loved the bread.

For entree my wife had the Chicken Scarp. Delicious as well. Very rich brown sauce.
I had the Carbonara Americano. The cream sauce was very good.

For dessert we had espressos with a slice of their chocolate layer cake, yum!

“​I discovered the Gourmet Cafe on a quiet evening as the hostess was placing the menu board outside. The dining room was simple and unpretentious, giving off a pleasant, personal feel. The experience started with a warm welcome from the server, Mandy, who personally recommended a Pinot Grigio for my meal—a fantastic touch for someone exploring wine pairings.

​I ordered a half portion of the Penne alla vodka with chicken, which was generous enough to be a full meal. It arrived with perfectly toasted garlic bread and had a lovely aroma. The dish delivered on every level: the pasta had a great bite, the sauce was tangy (thanks to the sun-dried tomatoes) and creamy, and the chicken was incredibly tender. The owner's wine recommendation was spot on, as the Pinot Grigio enhanced the creaminess of the sauce beautifully.

​It was the kind of meal that makes you lean back in your seat to savor every bite. While a few stray flies were near my table by the door, it was a minor note in a delicious and pleasant experience. Learning it's a 'mom-and-pop' operation made perfect sense given the personal service and neighborhood feel. It’s a true gem.“

“I have only dined at Rocco’s but one time, we didn’t have a reservation and they were able to seat the three of us which was very accommodating. It was a busy busy time since there was a game at the Civic Center across the street and every place was packed. The food was outstanding and I would recommend Rocco’s.“

We came here for dinner after considering a lot of other options, we were pleasantly satisfied with the food quality and quantity and the overall service.
The minestrone soup and bottomless salad (unlimited refills) were good.
The pastas we ordered were decent and came in very large portions, we ended up packing some of it for the next day of our trip.

“This is the best pizza north of Clifton Park, their sicilian is excellent, sauce is perfect and the owner is very kind. One time I forgot my CC and when I called to pay him he said not to worry about it, this just doesn't happen anymore, so I tanked him by leaving a tip for the cost of that order. “Hands-down, the best cheese pizza in the Glens Falls/QBY area. Always hot and fresh when it arrived. I just ordered an $11 foot long sub and I was so stoked about how good it was that it prompted me to write this review. Not sure if they make their own sub bread, but if they don't, they should take credit for it anyway because it was great. Reliable place when you want quality, and it's the pizza we always order when we have visitors from out of town.“

“Admittedly, when it comes to pizza, I am very easy to please. However, this pizza sauce is the best sauce l've ever had. It's not too sweet, not too salty. The atmosphere is best for pick up/ DoorDash with very limited, if any, indoor seating. The guy behind the counter is nice enough, sometimes overwhelmed as a one-man-show making all the food himself; but the wait is worth it because MAN! The pizza & garlic knots are exceptional.“

“It was good… they said table was 15 minutes wait but it was more like 5…then they said food would be an hour wait … then it got cut down to like 45 but it took about like 25 … the waiter with a beard Paul? He was there for like 25 years? Anyways he was awesome! The clam chowder was pretty awesome… the Rachel Ray pizza was good but it was spiiiiicy!! Service was great … food was good. They seemed realllly understaffed ! 7/10 overall!“

“Came here quick for slices on the go. Not too many options but opted for pepperoni & plain slices. The area is big with plenty of chairs for sitting. Large kitchen area. Quick service to heat up slices. Our slices were crunchy & not super greasy with stringy cheese!“
