“I lost hope in finding a place with actual GOOD penne alla vodka until we tried Stumpys last week. I thought I could only get quality penne alla vodka when we visit family in Long Island but Stumpys impressed me so much, it’s probably the best I’ve ever had!! Pizza was also great! 😍 We finally found our new go to pizza place!“

“Mia has become our new favorite take out pizza spot. I admit to having driven by a hundred times before trying it at a friend's house and falling in love.

We have never dined in, but there are tables available if you choose to do so. The place is like a wonderful, nostalgic throwback to pizza places of my childhood in the '80s in the best way possible. Employees are always friendly when calling in with your order and at pick up.

And the food!! This may be some of the best pizza I have ever had outside of NYC. At other places, I often order toppings because, well, the pizza itself is okay, but not always good enough to stand on its own. Not here, though! I often dream about their cheese pizza. Perfect cheese to sauce ratio for me. (I am not a fan of heavy sauce. Let me taste the cheese!) And the garlic knots - I could have eaten this order by myself. Not dry and hard like some places and not completely drenched in butter either. Again, just right. Their sauce - which comes with the knots - was so good I saved the rest to have with pasta the next day. It's just the right amount of sweet that I love.

I highly, highly recommend stopping by. They are old school and don't have a website with a menu that I could find. But they have a range of options from subs to pizza to dinners.“

“Hands-down, the best cheese pizza in the Glens Falls/QBY area. Always hot and fresh when it arrived. I just ordered an $11 foot long sub and I was so stoked about how good it was that it prompted me to write this review. Not sure if they make their own sub bread, but if they don't, they should take credit for it anyway because it was great. Reliable place when you want quality, and it's the pizza we always order when we have visitors from out of town.“

“It was good… they said table was 15 minutes wait but it was more like 5…then they said food would be an hour wait … then it got cut down to like 45 but it took about like 25 … the waiter with a beard Paul? He was there for like 25 years? Anyways he was awesome! The clam chowder was pretty awesome… the Rachel Ray pizza was good but it was spiiiiicy!! Service was great … food was good. They seemed realllly understaffed ! 7/10 overall!“

Fine choices of specials, but my favorite are the wings and pizza made to perfection! 👍🏼 Par is a great place to wind down with super friendly bartenders (shout out to Lauren and Paigey 😘 awesome ladies) have a drink and order some wings and pizza to go! Got a sub roll when ordered a wrap, ticket labeled wrap.. Order wraps since day one.. They didn't sauteed veggies last few times..don't stack a cold salad in top of hot wings either🥲 update!! “We had heard the pizza was amazing, so when we finally had the chance to stop and get some we were so excited, only to end up disappointed. We ordered a white pizza. It had hardly any mozzarella on it and the cheese went no where near the crust as shown in the pictures. The crust tasted like a biscuit crust. In all honesty we ended up throwing it away. Left with the taste of extreme disappointment from our experience. To be clear, I can’t recommend this pizza at all!“

“Was in from outta town and was craving a NY style pizza shop. Looked this place up near by and was not disappointed. Loved the cheese pizza and wings. And this owner isn't greedy he still serves you celery and blue cheese with your wings. Loved that bc a lot of pizza shops stopped that years ago. He also did not hold back on that delicious cheese on the pizza pie. I can see why his pizza shop has been successful for 30-35yrs, I believe he said!? We will definitely be back next summer when in town.“
