“it was amazing!! The proportions of the chicken and rice were in large amounts. The chicken was cooked well and the rice was soft. The salad on the side was very fresh. Overall I recommend this place for kids and adults. The spice levels canbe altered by asking for little hot sauce and more white sauce. The price is affordable and it is ready in less than 10 minutes.“

“Update: Tried this place again and I gotta change my review from 4 stars to 5. Got a combo over rice with extra meat and it was packed. More importantly though, it was delicious. I don't know if it's because I was hungry but the food I got yesterday was made really good, so much so that I'd actually say this cart is among the top 5 halal places I'd recommend. There seemed to be more lamb this time, like 60% chicken to 40% lamb but I didn't mind it much because the chicken was very juicy and flavorful. It felt like I was eating heaven and this might be my new go-to but given that it's a little of a way from my house, I don't know if I'd be coming here often. What I do know is that it's right in front of the hospital and if I worked around there, I'd be getting even fatter. For the purposes of my health, it's probably a good thing that I don't live too close to this cart. 10/10

Original review: Got a combo over rice and despite costing $1 more than the chicken over rice, the combo was basically 90% chicken and 10% lamb so it was basically a chicken over rice with a few lamb pieces sprinkled in. Despite me feeling ripped off, the chicken over rice was actually quite good. Chicken was tasty and well seasoned and I'd say that this is definitely one of the better halal carts out there in the area. Not the best but pretty good, and the prices weren't terrible.“

“I ordered one day when they weren’t open and they were nice enough to accommodate me the next time I visited. I got the plant based burger w the fries and let me tell you… it was amazing! I’m veganish cause I have yet to find vegan cheese that gives me the feeling dairy cheese does lol but they gouda…*chefs kiss* I’ll be back soon to give the empanadas a try.Great people and food…definitely a vibe and worth it.“

Until yesterday I wanted to try something new. So I got the beef kebab and Kefta (? Not sure if I spelled it rt) but it's like a thin burger patty. These were sooo good too!!! Now I'm have to go back for more lol. I got sauce with mine. But naw. Their food is soooo good. You should get the sauce on the side! Taste it trufully haha. Price is good. And portion is good. “I've tried halal all over the island, and they don't even compare to the places in the city. I just tried this place yesterday while in the area. This was not only the best I've ever had on LI but it honestly beats anything I've had in the city as well. Huge portion, cheap price, and friendly workers. My combo plate was enough for two meals. The ribs were fall off the bone tender. As a bit of a BBQ enthusiast I tend to avoid cooking mine that way but I must say the ribs here are good and the sauce was tasty! The Owner (I assume) was very pleasant, and it was great exchange while I waited. He gave me a whole heap of ribs and could barely close the container!! “I recently tried this halal cart in NYC, and it’s hands down one of the best I’ve ever had! I ordered the mix over rice, and to my surprise, it came with a Coca-Cola—all for just $8. In today’s economy, finding such great value is rare, especially with how delicious the food was. The flavors were spot-on, and the portion size was generous. “Food is really good but their service could be better. Google hours are updated very often but it seems this establishment opens whenever they feel like it. If it says one thing on google it should be open at the time mentioned. Delivery also is misleading, they always say 25 minutes but I’ve countless times waited close to and hour or more. I like that the meat was not greasy. What is great is that you can order ahead on Grubhub. A lot of halal restaurants only allow you to have food deliver not picked up. The lamb over rice takes the cake for the best food you can get, and there is a generous amount of sauce and meat, with bell peppers too(white sauce + hot sauce is the best option). Best gyro you can get around and I don't agree with the other(older) reviews about bad customer service, as I have been consistently receiving good service.“

“They open a bit late for a bakery but wanted to try them due to bringing food to a nut free event. Everyone working there was very nice and helpful in discussing what I could bring. I came first thing at 10 and ordered half a dozen cupcakes which they frosted for me on the spot. It was a variety of vanilla and chocolate cake with vanilla, chocolate, and Oreo frosting with sprinkles. They looked great. Price was fair, standard for Long Island allergy friendly bakeries. However, the chocolate cupcakes were still warm (I felt it on the bottom when I got to my car) so on the drive to the party, the tin developed condensation and the icing slid straight off them! Feels like a rookie mistake to pipe anything onto still warm cake, especially if you open as late as 10am. Despite this, people loved the cupcakes. A bit dense but delicious, so still 4 stars.We also got an iced coffee which was good. Nothing special but it was good quality. The signage inside was hard to read and I wish they put prices up. The actual bakery is nice and cozy, like someone's family house. There was ample seating and an assortment of other things to buy. I would come here again but maybe not first thing in the morning.

It's 7.99 a platter (I don't get why they don't just round up to 8, they never give you back the 1 cent in change anyway). Comes with a free soda but obviously the price covers that so not really free. I think they should charge $7 per platter and the extra dollar if someone wants to buy a drink. Lamb didn't really hit my craving for lamb, maybe it's a lower quality lamb. Food is made really fast.“

“I got myself a combo gyro at this cart and only paid $6 for it. It wasn't the heftiest gyro I've ever had but it tasted delicious with a strong smell of seasonings and for that price, you can't beat it. All the carts near me in South Queens are charging $7, $8 and one cart is even charging $9 for a combo gyro. The fact that this joint is pumping out good gyros for a measly $6 post inflation is amazing imo, but I don't expect the prices to last. This place isn't as highly rated as the Hamza cart nearby but during the time that I went, this place was easily getting twice the foot traffic of the nearby cart. Coincidence, maybe, but I'm happy that I don't actually live near these two carts or else I'd eventually need a wheelchair ?. As I write this review, I currently haven't received any food poisoning yet so there's that.“
