“The boss is very nice. He is very particular about the selection of store managers. The fish tastes great. Sometimes there is no fish when I come here. This means the ingredients are fresh enough. I deserve the good business. I come here to eat when I don’t want to go to Flushing. Highly recommended.“
“I ordered delivery and wasn't sure what to expect, maybe it was another mediocre yet hyped-up restaurant? Would the food arrive soggy or tough? But I was SO impressed. I ordered the tea smoked duck, Chongqing chicken, and crispy eggplant and it was all incredible, up there in quality with higher end Sichuan restaurants in the NYC area that charge double and give half the portions. I can't wait to try out more from their menu, hopefully next time in person!“
“As you walk in the Restaurant, you immediately get a homey atmosphere in this place! The food was served very quickly. The Authentic Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup is excellent as the broth is very thick and flavorful. The beef that they use is half tendon half meat, which is the best combo that a merchant can use when preparing this dish! Overall, the food is excellent! I would definitely come back again! As a bonus, their pickled cabbage and peanuts side dish are excellent too!“
“A bit crowded, but no wait for a weekend dinner. Never had the hot pot here, but keep coming back for their Hainanese Chicken. Their sauces are made in house and are the reason we keep coming back. Better than 99% of the spots in Flushing. Everything is ordered through an iPad so you never have to wait if you need to ask for more rice or anything. Great spot for a quick bite or date night.“
“Had a chance to try this amazing new restaurant at Double Happiness Palace that serves Szechuan dishes. It’s spacious, beautifully decorated and the staff is friendly. The extensive menu offers authentic Szechuan cuisine and every dish we tried was excellent. The house special rice, The griddle shrimp and spare ribs are fabulous. Don’t miss out the sea cucumber. It is very good. Overall, if you’re a fan of bold and authentic Szechuan flavors, this restaurant is a must-try!!Featured ⤵️⭐️House special Rice & Cured meat⭐️Sliced Pork with garlic⭐️Griddle shrimp & spare rib⭐️House special Sea Cucumber⭐️Stir fried Eggplant & String bean“
“I recently went here after hearing from a friend about their food and how great it is. I have been to many of these cuisines but this one is probably one of the best ones yet. Their food is very traditional and some of these reviews are bad because they probably don’t know what traditional korean chinese food cuisine food is. I will be coming here a lot more often now.“
“Excellent gong kong style brunch style noodle and congee spot, and perfect for rice dishes and Chinese vegetable and simple sautéed Chinese style beef and seafood dishes. I enjoy coming back and doing take out for those days I don't feel like cooking!“
“I ordered food to go for myself (vegan) and my boyfriend (non vegan). The vegan food was delicious, I ate the vegan tonkatsu and vegan buffalo wings.I saved my sesame hot pot to eat with my boyfriend who also got a soup (braised beef).I had ordered a small (I believe that's the only size the sesame pot comes in), so when I unpacked the food at home, I took the container that was filled less since they weren't labeled. It was the beef soup. I ate an entire piece of beef thinking it was vegan beef until I realized the texture was off. I am disgusted as I haven't eaten cow in 13 years. The food was delicious and the service was lovely. I will go back at some time but please, Veggie Express, label your vegan food especially your soups.“
“We were looking for a place to celebrate our daughter’s first birthday. We live in Manhattan and needed a place where we could host up to 80 people with easy parking and good food. All of the usual ideas weren’t cutting it for us so my father-in-law who lives in Woodmere suggested Jackie’s place as an option. My wife was a little hesitant at first. I think she had her mind made up with some of the more traditional options like an ice cream parlor or room somewhere with catering. But her father and Jackie talked some more and sent her pictures of the location and the idea of hosting here grew on her.Jackie had never hosted this kind of party but he and my wife worked out the details in terms of setting up a buffet, the right cost per person, the time (on Feb 10, Chinese New Year) and the decorations. Everyone was a little nervous, including her father who kind of felt like he set us up on a blind date: we hadn’t had the food or actually visited the place.Cut to the party and it wound up being absolutely amazing in every regard. My biggest concern was the food. My family loves Chinese and who knew it would be so delicious. I knew the other details would be fine in the end and people being together would make the party fine regardless, but bad food would have been trouble. Not only was the food not bad, it was truly Delicious! We had trays of dumplings, spring rolls, cold sesame noodles (often tough to get good ones but not here!), Sesame chicken, pork chow fun, shrimp with vegetables, lo meins, fried rices, Mongolian beef, and lots more. We figured we would have food to take home and were shocked at just how little left overs there were. And this was not due to lack of volume but instead to how much everyone ate.I could say lots more about Jackie’s first time hosting an affair like this, and about him as a host, and about the party being so successful. But bottom lines are these:1. If hosting a kid’s birthday or other such event at a Chinese restaurant wasn’t a thing, it should be now2. Call Jackie to host your next event. You won’t be sorry3. Come any time for a meal or takeout. If Delicis was in downtown Manhattan, it would be insanely popularThanks Jackie and Delicis staff for your time, communication and amazing food. Hoping you start hosting events like ours more frequently!“
“I work at a recently opened physical therapy clinic down the road, and this place is my go-to for lunch & dinner.I like to get chicken teriyaki with white rice all the time, great portion size, taste amazing, and very affordable!Highly recommend!“
“5 stars all across the board! All I have to say is, WOW! Love the energy and atmosphere! Family owned business and you can tell they take pride in their work! The food is always so fresh and tasty! The quantities are always perfect and the taste is always on point! Seating area is small, but usually clears out fairly quick! Wish we had more establishments like this one here! My favorite is the Hakka chicken with brown rice!!“
“Went with another couple started off with chicken lettuce wraps and 2 different types of dim sum. The waiter brought out the lettuce wraps first and when we finished the last bite the first order of dim sum came out, shumai which was delicious and then after we finished those dumplings the next set of dumplings came out. Timed perfectly so everything was fresh out of the oven. Main courses we had General Tso, Sesame chicken, Mongolian beef and Mongolian chicken. Everything was great least favorite was sesame chicken a little bland but still good best for me was Mongolian beef. Highly recommended a little pricey but worth it.“
“Sakana is fantastic and never fails to deliver. We order takeout once a week if not more frequently and the sushi is always fresh and best of all it’s extremely consistent. Cindy is amazing and works hard to make sure orders are correct and made on time. This is our go to when we have guests and have only positive things to say about the food! I love that they have Japanese as well as Chinese, nothing like a few california rolls, some shrimp tempura, and some general Tao Chicken- always a hit!! Can’t recommend this family owned business enough!“
“Best Vegan Food Ever! I usually order more to go than dine in. But the place is beautiful and the staff is very kind. The menu is big with several options, from appetizers, soups, noodles, entrees and delicious desserts! Also they offer different kind of teas. I definitely recommend it!“
“First off the food here is great. I've been here once before and had to bring the extended family to try and as remembered the food is excellent. It's a new spin on Korean food, you will find traditional also. There is just so much on the menus that I have not even come close to scratching the surface of it. Our server Jennifer is very attentive and offers opinions on what is popular since there is so much to digest. Must try and highly recommend it to anyone looking for good creative Korean food.“
“A cozy Taiwan restaurant in Bayside with high quality price ratio.Highlight: 5 mins to Cross Island Parkway exit 31w.Note: Cash only. Venmo/Zelle not available.Must-try: Lu Rou Fan 卤肉饭,Taiwanese Salt Pepper Popcorn Chicken 盐酥鸡Recommendation: Gua Bao刈包, beef in Niu Rou Mian 牛肉面Food: We ordered Lu Rou Fan (braised pork rice), Gua Bao (meat bun), Niu Rou Mian (beef noodles), and salt pepper popcorn chicken. The best part is how tender and soft the meat is, even the fatty parts melt in your mouth. They offer two types of rice, Lu Rou Fan and Khong Rou Fan. Gua Bao uses the same Khong Rou in Khong Rou Fan. Khong Rou is a large piece of meat with fat and lean parts. Gua Bao uses crushed peanuts and sugar on the meat. If you like big bites of meat, you will probably like this texture. Note that it is relatively greasy compared to other dishes. The crispy fried chicken is quite tender, but a bit salty. The beef in the beef noodles is top-notch, sadly the noodles are too soft and lack chewiness. My personal favorite is Lu Rou Fan. It has pickled cucumbers inside with a slightly sour but refreshing taste to balance the greasiness. The sportion of food is another highlight. It is more filling than it looks.Price: It is beyond my expectation. We were so full and even had leftover to bring home, while we spent less than $30 per person.Parking: they have parking lot in front of the restaurant, but spaces are limited.“
“FAST FAST FAST delivery wowww…. Love how you can pay by card when the delivery driver arrives cause he has a machine u can tip on there too. Fresh delicious sushi my mouth is watering thinking about the tuna and salmon sushi I had. Tooo good. California roll so good, miso soup so good I get extra seaweed in mine they perfected my order. I just recently moved to RVC & i can assure that this will be my new spot from now on. Thank you wild ginger !“
“It is the first time I go to a take out Chinese restaurant and receive great costumer service. The person who took the order was very kind. I also heard her explaining the menu to another customer with patience and at a good pace. The food was good. Definitely a good spot to get lunch special when around the area. They have a few tables available if people prefer to dine in.“
“This is the best Chinese takeout place in all of queens. You'd be insane if you went anywhere else. The General Tsos is crispy and on point. Exactly the way I remembered it being made back in the day. This place still has pride in the food they serve.FYI I stayed in to eat cause I wanted the general to to remain crispy.“
“I came here on a Wednesday night for dinner. It was pretty chill and quiet, which made the dinner experience very relaxing and enjoyable. Food is straight to the point with nothing else but deliciousness. Jiam Jja Myun (Combo Jja Jang Nyum & Jijam Pong) attacks the soul for all those whole are indecisive or just wants both types of noodles. Chadol Ssalguksu Jjampong (Spicy noddle soup with brisket) is almost like a hybrid of Chinese Beef Noodle Soup x Vietnamese Bún bò Huế x Haidilao's Tomato Soup Base. Worth a slurp! Continued with a E15. Gan Pung Gi (Fried chicken with spicy garlic sauce) which was a 10/10 phenomenon sensation. And for dessert, Donkatsu (Pork cutlet)! It was truly something crispy and juicy to end the meal. Totaled about an $87 experience.“
“I from out of town, this restaurant is great, the food with the prices are super. You cannot have two lobsters for $30 and cooked in perfectly Chinese Canton style.I went there twice within three days.Ask for Andy the waiter, he will recommend you what is good for the day.I told him if I am in the neighborhood I will be there for sure.PC value 5/5.“
“This is a hidden gem in East Rockaway! The food is delicious. We ordered Kung Po Chicken and Gyoza. The chicken came with rice, wonton soup (so good!) and crackers. The gyoza was awesome. We’d definitely come back and use this place as our go-to restaurant for Asian food in the area.“
“Why have I not been to this place yet???? Am I okay??? What a TREAT! I was looking for a classic Chinese food restaurant with vibes where I can sit down as well. My friend recommended. EVERY thing was DELISH! The service was wonderful. We had class won ton soup ( 10) egg roll (10) Gen Tso chicken ( 10) and the special fried rice. It was so good! Ended with tea and ice cream. Can't wait to go back, please don't ever change!“
“This was our first time there. We went for lunch today, it was a great experience. The place presents itself well, clean, modern and you know care is taken keeping it clean. Service was spot on. We ordered General Tsao tofu and broccoli in garlic sauce - both were excellent. Highly recommend!“
“Amazing food all around. Had the sweet corn soup and samosa chaat as starters, and they were both really good. The samosa chaat had the right spice level!Veg Hakka noodles is the main I got while my partner got Singapore noodles with shrimp. The Hakka noodles were perfection in texture, not oily, not soggy, just right and very generous portions too. Needed a little bit of salt but that's easily fixed and I'd rather have less salt in a dish than too much!Partner said the shrimp was cooked beautifully in their noodles and was very flavourful.Had the ras Malai for dessert and it was really good too. As previous reviews have mentioned, Tanveer was an excellent server and was very sweet and helpful. The restaurant is very clean, has really good table settings and overall the atmosphere is cosy for a dine in. Highly recommend them for their food + all around service.“
“Had dinner here today and already looking forward to the next time. Ingredients were fresh and clean, lots of variety and interesting options (even trendy stuff like 분모자), and for a good price. The mala tang broth tasted like a rich bone broth: spicy, savory, hearty and not too salty. Also got quobarou and that was crazy good.Ambience was really chill. The lady is really nice. Love the tall ceilings and lighting was well lit but easy on the eyes.“

“Absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and an inviting atmosphere. The menu was a delightful journey through authentic Chinese cuisine, offering a variety of dishes that cater to every palate. We decided to try the dumplings and the Kung Pao chicken, and both were simply out of this world - the dumplings were perfectly steamed with a juicy filling, while the Kung Pao chicken was the right balance of spicy and savory. What really set this place apart was the attentive and friendly service; the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. The decor was traditional with a modern twist, making for a cozy yet elegant setting. Overall, this restaurant is a gem that offers an authentic taste of China right in our neighborhood. Highly recommend for anyone looking to satisfy their Chinese food cravings!“
“I don’t usually write reviews but I have to for this Chinese food. This is the best Chinese in New York. They care about the quality of their food. They make fresh juice and all of their vegetables are fresh! I’ve tried almost everything here and every meal I tried was an 8 or better!“

“A delicious take out experience! Food was ready by the time I selected to pick it up, was in and out quick.Food:- Garlic shredded pork (medium spicy) 5/5: this was delicious with just a flavorful and enjoyable level of spice. Spice brought a light burn to my lips, I’m not the most spice tolerant. Sriracha is my happy place spice wise for reference.- sesame chicken 5/5: very tender, juicy chicken. The sauce was sweeter than I expected, but it’s not a dish I’ve gotten before. Very good, especially for lunch the next day.- pork soup dumplings 5/5: very big, filled with delicious pork and soup. Almost too big to eat in one bite - almost! Great portion of soup and pork filling.- pork and sour cabbage fried dumpling 4/5: these were good, nothing remarkable which is why a 4, whereas I thought the other items were very very good. I think the sauce was what I didn’t like as much about them.Based on my experience, I happily recommend Zouji for getting high quality, flavorful Chinese food in Glen Cove. It’s my favorite of the Chinese restaurants I’ve tried in town (3 total). I will be back the next time I’m craving Chinese food!“

“Ordered here for take out and was very happy with what I received!!The portions for everything were generous and everything ordered was fresh and delicious. The vegetable dumplings tasted fresh and were delicious! The pork bao buns were steamed to perfection and incredibly fluffy. The pork filling for the buns was delicious, but I do wish there was a bit more filling in them. The wanton soup was also delicious, and not too salty!I would highly recommend this Resturant for Chinese food!“
“I had my wedding rehearsal dinner here and Tommy was incredibly accommodating and ensured that everything ran smoothly from start to finish The food was absolutely delicious, and my bridal party still raves about it, especially the sushi! The staff was also very attentive and made sure that all of our needs were met. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.“
“This is a very popular buffet in Baldwin. Lots of people loading up on the all you can eat Chinese buffet. They have a very large selection of food to choose from, including a Mongolian BBQ station. Sushi, seafood, plenty of desserts. My family will eat here again. Plenty of food for the price!!“
“Best Chinese food takeout in the LB-IP-Oceanside Area. Go to order: Pork soup dumplings (note: the cashier will clarify if you meant pork soup dumpling or dumpling soup. Yes, you do mean Pork Soup Dumpling), crab meat cheese wonton, pecking duck, eggplant with garlic sauce, and crispy shrimp w/ honey walnut“
“Sauerkraut chinese fish. This cuisine is generally for fresh of the boat Chinese people. But over the last few years, it has steadily gained popularity amongst non Chinese and even non Asians. I can't even explain what the taste is like aside from it being maybe lemongrass and spicy at the same time. The bowl is filled with random veggies, spices, and, of course, your choice of fish or even duck blood. This spot is located inside the food court of 99 Ranch Market. The prices are reasonable ($12.95), and the employees are nice. They also serve Malatang. Those that don't know, look it up. When you pay with cash, you get a free drink (yellow colored fruit tea)“
“The food is good, the music is just too loud . Because the server is wearing a mask, with the music so loud. We can't hear her, and she didn't understand us. But when we got it together, the food is good. They give you a lot for the money.“
“This is the best Chinese takeout I've had in this area! Less greasy and more flavorful than others with good vegetables! Had wonton soup, dumplings, chicken and eggplant, and mixed Chinese vegetables. Really impressed by the freshness and quality of the food. Delivery was quick and food was hot. I think this is going to be my go to Chinese place! Much better quality than other local places!“
“Anzai is by far the best sushi restaurant! I order from them frequently and am never disappointed. The food is always fresh and so delicious, and the workers are all very nice. Every time I go to a different sushi restaurant, I always find Anzai to remain my favorite. Go to Anzai, you will not be disappointed!“
“Maybe I am living in 2019 but I found the food prices to be rather high. Portions were not overly generous, either. But what we did get was excellent. Wonton soup was the best I have had anywhere. Scallion pancake tasty but not too greasy, as it can be elsewhere. Chicken and broccoli, orange beef, and lo mein had the rest of my party raving. The dining room was clean and bright (not too bright) and the service impeccable.“
“The servers are quick, consistent, and attentive. The soup dumplings at this location are so good. As are their scallion pancakes. Their spicy beef soup is good there and even reheated the next day at home. My kids love eating here. The bathrooms are clean. The place is clean. And we have had great experiences here. I would just double check their opening time on Sundays. I believe Google has it as 1030 but I think its actually at 11.“
“My family and I absolutely LOVE this place! We order from here at least once a week. We’ve never been disappointed with our meals. They’re always fresh and delicious! And the staff is always so kind! The worst days of the week are Sunday’s when they’re closed. ☹️ No other spot in town is as good as King House.“
“The food is delicious here you can’t go wrong it’s the best Chinese food in the area the only thing is the store looks rundown so at first glance you would just say no. A lot of homeless linger in front of the store begging for Change. They need to stop them from doing that.“
“Food is Great! My favorite is the Lo mein which is really good. Boneless spare ribs are good and chicken with broccoli. I don't like the sesame chicken chicken has too much breading. Service is not bad not excellent either but it is a take out place.“
“Royal tangra masala is the best indo Chinese fusion place I have ever been to and to even go further than that it is THE best restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. From the staff to the ambiance of the restaurant it is an amazing experience with wonderful kind hearted people. I have had the pleasure of seeing all of china town and their establishments and to this day I whole heartedly believe royal tangra masalas food blows them all out of the water.“
“i think some people already said the broth/noodles lacked salt. i think just by adding some salt, it would really help the broth. portions were good for the price. i think some people were complaining about the portion vs price were getting delivery and the apps are always more $$ that dining in. otherwise the noodles were cooked well and i was full by the end of my meal. i'd go back and hope they add some salt to the broth.“
“I ordered through DoorDash. Quart of sweet n sour chicken. Fried dumpling App. First the chicken was crunchy and not overly breaded. The batter did NOT taste greasy. Their was so much that they couldn't close the bucket! OUTSTANDING!The sauce was very tasty. The only thing missing was the cherry and pineapple chunk. The fried dumpling were delicious. The mystery meat inside was not off putting in anyway. The dipping sauce was not just a container of soy sauce but actual sauce with real ginger and other spices! And I got two! I hope this place doesn't tank. Best Chinese I have had in years.“
“Good food delicious everything food is so good service is good only thing is the restaurant could use a good redo it’s nice and clean but could be made to look better other then that the food is one of the BEST CHINESE for i ever had.Kid-friendliness: They are nice ??“
“I made a nice review before. My second time going there i had to spit the food back out. I asked for chicken and broc , pork fried rice with an egg and they left the pork out. Food was uncooked. Rice still raw chicken hard. Im so grossed out. Go to Wing Wong Kitchen i promise you will never be disappointed.“
