“I was greeted well by the server at the register and she helped me pick a sandwich, chips and drink meal. Prompt, kind, friendly and attentive to whatever questions I had, my experience throughout was good. There was no room for complaints. The sandwich was good not out of this world but I didn't expect to be blown away either. Sometimes you want a simple sandwich, chips and a drink to wash it all down and I think anyone looking for something simple and fresh will enjoy coming here.

Kid-friendliness: Plenty of seats both inside and out, you will not regret bringing your kids along to enjoy a meal here. The decorations inside are also very thematic to the atmosphere and food.“

“I do not recommend going to the bar! Terrible service!! This past Labor Day my husband and I decided to go back to this place for our second time, since our first time was a great experience. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the service overall. This time we decided to sit in the back because they had a DJ and good ambiance. The bar seating was perfect and beautiful water view. Since it was a beautiful evening we decided to order a nice COLD bottle of white wine along with our meal. Unfortunately the wine we wanted “supposedly” they didn’t have…..but it seemed as our very young bartender was having a bit of trouble trying to put that in the system, so she came back to see if we have a second choice. So we chose. We waited more than usual, but did come eventually………to our disappointment the wine was room temperature. So we expressed our dissatisfaction about how is it possible to serve white wine at room temperature. She suggested we put our bottle in an ice bucket because there’s no colder wines, and that would be the coldest! But then that wouldn’t solve the issue as she thought. We still had warm white wine to drink. So, once we said sorry we just can’t, she decided to leave the ice bucket unattended on the bar and ignore as completely even though we pushed the wine to the side. Since she was completely ignoring us, I got up and went to the side of the bar and called her and asked to speak to whoever was in charge of the wines. With a great attitude she had someone called that person. Once we spoke to him I asked how is it possible to serve room temperature white wine?! the excuse was that maybe she chose the one they just put in. So he advised us to change our wine completely. We ordered French and he suggested a Greek wine because they have that one very cold. After he brought the wine, he left it inside ice bucket unattended. Not even asked if that wine was ok! We had to remind the other very young bartender if we could have our wine. Since our bartender still was ignoring us. We kept the bucket with us just incase so we can serve ourselves. Food came and was delicious! We got the appetizers and after a little while our main course. But empty plates were still there from appetizers. The food runner had to make space to put our main course on the bar top. Main course was done and empty plates were there for so much longer than they should. But she was attending other guest while ignoring us. I started staking the plates, when she noticed she asked the other bartender to clear up the area. My husband wanted dessert so we asked someone else for it. And then we added a couple of frangelicos and this is when she came around again! Nope! Sorry! To not make the story longer our bill came to almost $300. We didn’t think she deserved any tip at all. She ruined our experience. We made the best of our last days of summer. Yes I could’ve had the manager and complain but that would have ruined our evening and our meal. So I told my husband just give her $25 though I thought that was WAY too much, but to show her that we are descent people and that she’s not doing us a favor by serving us because she’s a lousy person with No bartending etiquette and she shouldn’t be behind the bar! And yes we made sure tip wasn’t included already!!“

“Season's 52 at Roosevelt Field is an excellent restaurant. They have a variety of "gluten-sensitive" offerings. The flatbread starters are distinctive--at least for a person with an allergy to gluten. The ambience is generally fine. I generally prefer very quiet restaurants. Indeed, I would prefer a room for only my party. However, I am able to hear other people in a party of four with little difficulty in the this restaurant.“

“Here’s the thing—Season Bistro is the best restaurant in Long Island. I know how big a statement that is. Go eat there and tell me I’m wrong though. The chef is brilliant, creative, and does things with pork belly that normal chefs would rave about! The entire menu is amazing. And that menu changes 4 times a year—depending on, yes, the season. “My family wanted to try a new place for dinner this weekend and Jamesons was it. The atmosphere is warm and inviting so we felt comfortable the moment we walked in. Our waitress Sarah was great...super friendly and made us feel right at home. We ordered the French Onion soup (excellent) and Pretzel Sticks (ok) as appetizers. The French Onion soup ($12) was very delicious but the pretzel sticks ($12) we probably wouldnt order again. There were 2 Pretzels to the order which my wife and I thought was a little pricey for what they were. My 7 year old ordered the chicken fingers and fries which were better than I had expected them to be. My wife ordered the Fish and Chips ($25) - super tasty, very fresh, and cooked to perfection. I ordered the Reuben ($24) super yummy which was a special for the evening. My wife and I both agreed after sharing that both meals were excellent. Key Lime Pie and a cappuccino finshed us off both of which did not disappoint. Overall, food and presentation were top notch and the service was excellent ---Thanks again Sarah! My wife and I both felt it was a little pricey but we would definitely go back.“

“Food was surprisingly good and flavorful. Service was very good, attentive and reasonably quick given packed house for Sunday brunch. Espresso martini was rich and yummy, the Turkish latte was also good, and huevos rancheros with steak was delicious. We will return. Ariel at the bar was super helpful.“

“The Audrey is such a nice addition to the town of Oyster Bay. Finally , somewhere to go with live music , DJ and Karaoke nights. The food is excellent with a variety to pick from. The bar feels like you are sitting in your own home.

Kendra, Giulia and the other bartenders are so knowledgeable on different hard liquor drinks . When I’m undecided ? on what to drink they always come up with something great.

“My best friend lives in Queens so she and I come to the Onion Tree every other Friday night. I wish this place was closer to me. I live in Yonkers. The food is superb, seasoned extraordinarily. The chicken is fresh, soft and cut into small bites. I always order chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, or chicken tikka pizza. I have never had food that I enjoyed this much and I have tried all foods all over the world. I never get tired of this place. And the food is served quickly and piping hot. They’re opening a second place in Manhattan. We’re getting closer to Yonkers!! The drinks are awesome too. Barbra and Louis work behind the bar. They’re friendly and great bartenders.“

“As always I give this restaurant 5 stars. Met friends for dinner on Sunday night. The service is exceptional. All of us had something different and we all enjoyed our food. My friend did a price fixed with filet of sole and said it was delicious. The brussel sprouts appetizer was excellent. We also started with fried calamari, though small portion, was good. I had a hamburger which was huge with the onions and musrooms. The burger was cooked to perfection. The other two in our party also finished their food. It was very quiet so we were able to communicate easily with our friends.“

“We actually never went to this location before, but had greatly enjoyed their prior second location in Port Washington. Expectaions were right on point. Food was excellent from appetizer to the main course. Maybe it's weird but I kind of respect even the small things like when a restaraunt offers to chose to serve in house brewed ice tea as opposed to something pre processed. The Brisket from todays specials list was perfect. This restaurant is 45min drive from home and well worth the trip. Thank You, we will be back.“

“My wife and I met a friend for lunch. We had made a reservation. The food is always great. My wife had the shrimp tacos, I had the duck tacos and our friend had the cauliflower soup and the beef salad. We always enjoy our meals eating at the West End Cafe. We would not hesitate to recommend it for weekend nights. You necessarily need a reservation.“

“I recently visited this place when my brother and I could not get in afew days before. It is a good place with a few options, even though the menu is slightly limited. However, this more of a place to drink than eat. Only problem with this place is that it is only open 5 hours (5pm to 10pm) everyday sonforget about getting brunch or lunch. As a result of that prices are up a little. Overall though, it is a good experience. It is worth the visit.“

“Came with the family to support local businesses and wanted to try out Kai Burgers. They were very tasty using fresh meat patties. Kids approved 100%. We also got their wings and they were nice and crispy as well. Would recommend for anyone looking for a nice quality burger spot to try out in the neighborhood.“

“We were able to snag a table for two at the last minute with the help of a very accommodating hostess. We spent 10 minutes waiting at the bar, where the bartender was quick, efficient and friendly. Our table was a cozy (not cramped) corner booth for two and the seating was very comfy. Laraine was our sever and she was great. Attentive without intruding. Quick without being frantic. Excellent excellent service. The food was delicious and served hot. There is nothing that we would change about our visit except we should have tried this restaurant sooner!“

“We are “regular” diners at Thyme. Thyme is definitely one of our favorite local restaurants. The food is delicious and Thyme is a very popular and excellent local restaurant. Actually, we often eat the same kind of food most of the time. The food is fresh and prepared perfectly. We often meet friends at Thyme as it is easy to talk and have conversations before and during our meals. I definitely recommend Thyme for the delicious food and as a welcoming restaurant.“

“I’ve tried both the smash burger and chicken sandwich from Bareburger, and they are absolutely delicious. The fries are great too! What I love most is knowing that their food is real, organic, and healthier compared to the fast food options around here.

Plus, their prices are amazing, especially since so many other places have raised their prices—some are even more expensive than Bareburger, and they aren’t even organic. I don’t trust the other places, and they charge way too much, so Bareburger is my go-to spot.

On top of the great food, the atmosphere is fantastic. The restaurant layout and theme are so unique and inviting—it really adds to the experience. Everything about Bareburger is perfectly amazing, from the service to the food to the prices, all of it is top-tier. I just wish more people knew about this place!

“Went for open mic night, so it got more crowded as the evening went on. The waitress assigned to our table took a long time to bring us a dessert menu, and after we asked another server, he told us they only had one option for dessert - couldn't our waitress have told us that, instead of telling us that she would get a dessert menu - that didn't even exist!? Then there was an even longer span of time getting our check to us. Perhaps these servers are tasked with more than they can handle, but when people dine out, there is an expectation of good, courteous, prompt service. I do not blame the wait staff, as they are just young people trying to earn some extra cash. The fault is with leadership being short sighted with the insufficient staff numbers, especially on a busy night. Come out - talk to the patrons, explain the wait, offer a discount if needed... Anything to prevent a negative review! Food was great - no issues there, but the taste did not erase the feeling about the poor service. I would come back, but please do better.“
