“Best hamburger hotdog place that serves great beer near Hosfstra University. Every time I go with my wife to visit our son who is at Hofstra despite trying to go to different venues to grab a bite before we head back to Jersey. We always end up at black label because the food is so good, the service is great the people are very friendly and the service is quick. If you’re in Hempstead or Westbury and looking for a good burger, good hotdog in a simple atmosphere black label is my first choice.“

“Loook here over here TEX and listen closely. I’m a regular and I use Uber eats to get my order delivered. Your chicken is amazing, the chicken sandwiches too, not to mention the fries. BUT I AM extremely disappointed when you got rid of the 15pc wings meal that comes with two fries. Now it’s 7pc. BRING IT BACK PLEASE ??. ☹️I never spend less than $70 at your establishment. I deserve this much. Bring back the wings.“

“The Cuban sandwich with 2 sides Is so delicious I Have been craving it for over ten years now since I Moved Out of town And I have never been disappointed by anything That I have ever had there and I was literally a regular customer there for over five years in a row I was just so hungry and I had to make it my daily lunch break Order and it was so good to have a seat at one of the tables and Take my lunch break and enjoy my lunch break with a leisurely seat at a little table. By the soda fridge and then I was done eating lunch and I had cooled off enough to get back to my work and finish for the day and then I went home with my full belly And complete satisfaction with my lunch and what I ate. I have been recommending this As the best BBQ place for miles and now It’s become a very popular destination among the friends and family who have taken my recommendations. “A very well seasoned cheeseburger with some thin sliced onion, tomato, pickle, lettuce on top. Burger came with some sort of house sauce as well, very good flavor, might be salty for some. Burger not cooked to order so if you are a medium rare or rare burger person you can skip this place. Bun was one of the best parts, very fresh and soft and held together throughout the meal. Did not opt for fries or a drink.“

“Ok so I really do love the Salmon Kale salad! With that being said, $19.02 for this salad is a bit much. I remember when you used to get a small piece of bread (free) with this salad but that stopped a while ago. With Just Salad, Cava and Sweetgreen all looming and offering coupons, why not throw your committed customers a discount code once in a while for overpaying and returning lol? You do have a great product, but it is by far the most indulgent with regards to price point.“

I buy about 5 chicken burgers a week from them, 4 out of 5 times they ARE a little tough, as they probably have been sitting out for a while.
The Spicy Hot Chicken Meal, is excellent. You just need lots of sauce for it, as it is dry rub. Great for the price.
Mashed potatoes are amazing, just wish there was more gravy, and the biscuits lacked flavor. But great consistency, temp and quality.“

The only problem is occasionally a very drunk, very loud, very short, very smelly stuttering patron comes in and ruins it for everyone.
He keeps telling everyone he is a celebrity 30 years ago, and is like 60, but hits on 20-somethings non-stop, brags about doing coke in the bathroom, etc. He ruins it. If you go in and you see this guy, leave.“

“Sweet potato fries were excellent!!!! I’d recommend those. Also had the “Fat Boy” burger but without bacon. Very good experience. I would go again. Staff was kind and environment was chill. I recommend this restaurant if you wanna try something different/ new and are into burgers, shakes and beer.“
