“All of the proceeds from what you buy in the cafe go toward the Kadampa fund that helps build more Kadampa centers and temples worldwide. They've always got fresh espresso from their espresso machine, and serve Americanos and lattes and more. They also have a variety of caffeinated or non caffeinated teas, or you can just get a cold drink from the drink fridge. On Sundays, after Prayers for World Peace, they typically have scones, muffins, cookies, and the like. During busy festivals, they typically also have a variety of cake or pie slices, including my favorite pistachio ricotta cheesecake or their homemade carrot cake. It's open to the public during any public event day, or is home to many Kadampa practitioners relaxing and conversing when not in a class/session.”

“What a wonderful experience tonight! I read a review earlier today that mentioned the Chilean Sea Bass. Hubby had never had that dish and was happy it was a special tonight. I had the mushroom ravioli which was also delicious. We couldn't leave without the almond creme cake and cannoli to finish. We might try to squeeze another visit in during our week up here.”

“I have been here many times and love the atmosphere and have been coming here regularly for their wing night. Tonight they failed. I ordered a dozen wings and sat down with friends that were not eating. My ticket time seemed to be taking a while so I started paying attention to other orders. Dozens had been served that ordered after me. After 45 minutes I approached the bar to ask for a refund. A person was requested from the kitchen to help me. I asked for a refund for the food I hadn't received. She questioned if I had received anything at all. I told her no as the wings were all I had ordered. I showed her my receipt and pointed to the table I was sitting at. She glanced over to it and voided the transaction. I felt as if I wasn't believed that my order really did not come out. The order was all of $4 and some change, even if the wings came out raw I would have just not eaten them and left. I would not have asked for a refund but not serving anything at all I believe a refund is just. I really do like this place but dont like the feeling of not being believed. I did not receive an apology either which would have been proper.”

I am the administrator of the I live in Milford PA Facebook page and they generally will post their menus and specials throughout the week on that site as well as others. Last night for Valentine’s Day my wife and I visited the restaurant for the first time We ordered one of their Valentine’s Day special offers. “Planned a birthday party for my kids here… owner was super great about everything!! Reserved tables for us… unfortunately i planned the party and there was thunderstorms on and off. She felt so bad that our tables were wet and offered for us to go inside! I insist that we would be ok. I set up the tables, had guest come… and it was so nice! Brought my own food. But they do have a bar and restaurant right on the beach!! And a couple arcade games! We ended up having to move some stuff inside because it started raining and the owners were cool about it! And not to mention it was way cheaper then anywhere else! Thank you guys for helping make my daughters birthdays great💗 anyone whos never been here… its a GREAT beach. They have a dock you can dive off of… a ton of beach toys for kids to use so you dont even need to bring toys! You can rent jet skis i believe and go out on the water… it’s absolutely a hidden gem”

The young people working always seem like they are enjoying themselves, and the strawberry/peanut butter milskakes is The Bomb (my family says the other stuff is delicious, too!). If you're in the area, definitely stop for a treat. It's worth the wait if there's a line!!”

“My friends and I stopped in one day for an early dinner. We got garlic knots, the chicken bacon ranch pizza, and cannoli’s. I’m still thinking about how good everything was. We are from Pennsylvania and I’d make a day trip for that pizza any time of the week!”

“This place is a hidden gem. It looks like any run of the mill casual dining place, but the food says otherwise. There are menu staples which obviously are great, but the seasonal and daily specials are phenomenal. I have never been disappointed by anything I have ever ordered from Ben's Fresh. You can tell that the head chef actually really has passion for what he does by the dishes he comes up with, and that the food isn't made to fit some cost analysis- but to be delicious. They never skimp, one meal is probably enough for 2 average adults and pricing is reasonable for the quantity and quality of food you are getting. Honestly you are only gonna spend maybe 2-3$ more on a burger and fries than you would at McDonald's for a meal. The girls ( maybe there's boys too, I just always see the girls) are always friendly and seem to enjoy being there as well. It says a lot when your staff doesn't seem miserable. Also, just to conclude- icecream nachos. Get them. You will not regret it.

Logistically, large parking lot, with handicapped spots right by the door. Plenty of outdoor seating set back from the road in nice weather. Bathrooms are clean. Not a ton of seating inside but I have never not been able to find a table. Cool local art. You can call in your order ahead to pick it up. Check it out.”
