This past Friday my Son and I visited this restaurant for the 2nd time for lunch. The first time was 3 years ago. We found it to be as good as we remembered and definitely enjoyed ourselves. We ordered a bottle of Josh Cellars cabernet, which was average. Foodwise we ordered prime rib, which came with choice of potato and soup or salad. I had onion soup, and my Son had the salad. The staff in restaurant are friendly The atmosphere brings you back in time The rooms are clean Small but cleaner than any Marriott or Hilton I have stayed at over the last year I couldn't find one thing wrong with the Erie hotel and restaurant

The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, and the bar was the good kind of relaxed late at night. Reasonably priced for the middle of town and right next to the NJ transit station
