“Best bar I have ever been too! And I have been to a lot...No food but all you can eat fresh popcorn! Ginger the redheaded bartender, go figure, was great! You can spend hours looking at all the stuff. Bears, deer, elk blow fish and even a moose! All the while singing tunes from the jukebox with the entire bar.“
“Bartender who works Tuesdays Wednesday Saturday and Sundays is such a sweet honey doll. The other night he threw some trash bag out the bar(obnoxious women, wasn’t even hot?) and he handled it in the most professional way! Cleanest bar in port by far! Love the atmosphere and people“
“I love wing night. I try to come here during the week when it not to crowded. The drinks are priced well. They have a awesome jukebox which will play pretty much whatever you want. If you are looking for a good time and someone good drinks this is where you want to be.“
“This location had a wide variety on the menu. Everything we ordered was delicious. This restaurant came by way of recommendation and now I send the recommendation on to the next visitors. The service was timely and the portions were just right.“
“We didn't stay at the hotel, instead, we went to the restaurant. There is a very distinct... smell in the booth where we were seated. It reminded me of my great-grandmother somehow. We looked through the menu and had a hard time deciding what to get. Ultimately, the food, OH MY GOSH! So Good! So Much! The appetizers we got, more than enough to leave us satisfied. I can't wait to visit again!AND! THEY SELL LOTTERY TICKETS THERE!!! ?“
“This past Friday my Son and I visited this restaurant for the 2nd time for lunch. The first time was 3 years ago. We found it to be as good as we remembered and definitely enjoyed ourselves. We ordered a bottle of Josh Cellars cabernet, which was average. Foodwise we ordered prime rib, which came with choice of potato and soup or salad. I had onion soup, and my Son had the salad. All of the food was quite good, and the portions were rather large. My only issue would be the slow service. It took a while to get our food. The restaurant is comfortable with both tables and booths and a bar area. It was pretty busy at the time we were there. If the opportunity presents itself, I would definitely return.“
“Absolutely charming riverside cafe with great food, worth a few hours’ trip to explore the quaint town. Check out the historic water wheel at the back of the restaurant and the rustic shops in the neighborhood.Order the croissant creme brûlée French toast if it’s offered as a special, but split it among 2-4 people as it’s too cloying otherwise. I normally dislike French toast but this one just hit different. The croissant soaked up the custard like a sponge, while the edges crisped up nicely. It’s a bread pudding, really. The plain croissant off the pastry shelf wasn’t that good, though, as it tasted more like bread than a flaky pastry. The smoked salmon is a recommend. It’s a very light meal on its own, though, so you might need to order a pastry or side.“
“Great food, cool atmosphere! Came with a group of 4 to celebrate a birthday, and our service and food were phenomenal! We got the calamari and Bavarian pretzel to start; the calamari was tender & cooked to perfection, and the pretzel was soft, salty, and delicious, especially with the cheese sauce. For our main courses, we got the surf and turf special with the filet and colossal shrimp (with the bleu cheese butter on the filet ?), the rigatoni fresca, braised short ribs, and the grilled filet, and everything was absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered was cooked and seasoned perfectly. We’ll definitely be back again soon!“
“Was our first time here.Good place to eat. Workers were friendly. Food came out fast. The chicken cordon bleu bites, cheddar broccoli soup, mushroom brie soup, and coleslaw were great.Interesting outside area of shops and a cute small duck pond that we took pictures by.We got here at 5:50pm and the stores were already lock and closed everyone was gone, even though the hours said they are open till 6pm Would have liked to go in an shop in the little shops. Wished they were opened a little later, missed the opportunity. Definitely would stop by again if back in the area.“
“Living close to the NY/PA/NJ border definitely has its perks.Decided to head over to Sussex County NJ to try something new for lunch. First of all, the beer flights are only $7, the downside is all beer is served in plastic cups, but the pours are nice size. They do have wine but nothing that this wine snob wanted, lol. The kitchen offers something for everyone. I had the hot Italian panini, my husband the pepperoni pizza, zero complaints. Big bonus there's was music on Sunday! Nice gentleman singing not your ordinary songs, like Eleanor Ribgy! Very cool.2nd Bonus. There's specific parking spots for motorcycles. So we will definitely be back on our scoot with some friends, scenic route from home is no highway. Nice outdoor seating and ice cream for kids, bring the whole fam, no dogs tho.“
“Nice atmosphere and great beers. My husband is very into beer and even brews his own and it's quite knowledgeable in the subject from a process and historical stand point. He loves their beers, thought they were all solid for their styles. I am not huge on beer but there is something there for everyone I feel. Even ones I could enjoy. My husband liked the beer so much he order two flights cause he wanted to taste them all. Haven't had the food yet but from what I could see inside the food looked filling and nice portion sizes too. Staff and friendly and attentive. The building itself has a lot of charm and historical character.“
