The jarred sauce tasted nothing like what I remember in-house. While I was surprised it was quite meaty and not as thin as what I've seen at the shop and was expecting based on comments here, it was quite sour. The culprit is likely the glucono delta lactone, which was probably used as a preservative to keep it safe, but it ruined the taste of the product sadly. Maybe some things just can't be bottled.
The jar sauce that’s around 11 dollars will only make about 3 hotdogs. Mostly liquid and no meat sauce.
The Queensbury location should be avoided. Horrible customer service, rude, and mean. Such a shame to see a staple like this being run into the ground by the new generation.
