Rene's Eclectic Bistro and Restaurant is quite the find. This establishment in a quaint neighborhood of Glens Falls is a hidden gem. We found the place by searching for somewhere to eat Thanksgiving dinner. The chef and owner provided a full thanksgiving meal and offered to prepare anything from the standard, daily menu. We had a wonderful dinner at Rene's in Glens Falls! Authentic European cousins -- the chef is Swiss -- generously served and priced reasonably. Friendly, homey atmosphere, When we walked in, the other customers were all smiling, obviously happy to be eating there, and we soon found out why. You bring your own favorite wine. Only a few tables, so we reserved a couple of days ahead. Convenient parking behind the restaurant. We warmly recommend Rene's!

We had a wonderful dinner at Rene's Friday night while visiting Glens Falls. Delicious European cuisine -- the chef is Swiss -- generously served and reasonably priced. You can order two portion sizes of some of the dishes, which is such good idea. Friendly, cozy, homey atmosphere. Bring your own wine. Only a flew tables, so we reserved a couple of days ahead. A real find!
