This is the same place as Downtown Social. Not friendly, aggressive behavior towards me (middle age female military veteran) from male bartenders and staff. Not friendly toward Military/ Military veterans.
Spent a lovely evening with host Cesaera (Che) and her staff. Made and ate a wonderful Indian dinner, complete with wine, hors d'oeuvres, and a brief break mid event to whip up a pitcher of mango lhassi! The Bourbon Room is closed to the public during these events, so the whole thing feels very private and luxurious. We were treated to a night of learning to cook Indian dishes tikka masala, saag, rice and of course mango lassis. Cesarea our chef extraordinaire explained everything, answered all our questions and ensured we had a wonderful time and our bellies were filled with delicious food we prepared. We can’t wait to come back!
