“My family and I celebrated my mother-in-law's birthday with a dinner for ten at Tiger Sushi in Great Neck today, and it was a truly spectacular experience!

We decided to keep things easy and celebratory by ordering three of the restaurant's party platter dishes to share. This was a fantastic decision. The quality was super across the board. Every piece of sushi, sashimi, and every roll was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. You could tell that the fish was of the highest grade, practically melting in your mouth.

The platters were not only generous in portion but also artfully arranged, making our table look incredibly festive. Even with our large group of ten, the three platters provided more than enough variety and food for everyone to enjoy their fill.

From start to finish, the food was the highlight—authentic, fresh, and exceptionally high quality. If you're looking for a special place to celebrate a milestone with a large group, or just want to enjoy some truly great Japanese cuisine, Tiger Sushi is highly recommended. It was the perfect meal for a perfect family celebration!”

The owner was so genuine and kind, and it was great chatting with him. He mentioned he doesn’t use sugar in his tomato sauce, which I really appreciated.

I ordered the Napoli Special with peppers, onions, sausage, pepperoni, and meatballs—absolutely delicious! Perfectly crispy thin crust with just the right amount of toppings. Easily the best pizza I’ve had in a long time.

Pejman, Seth, Benjamin and all waitstaff are accommodating, polite and go above and beyond for us. We have hosted 3 weddings at colbeh. “We went to Peter Luger’s in Brooklyn to celebrate my son’s and my birthdays. Incredibly, it was our first time there. We will be back. Beautiful, old world atmosphere. The food was beyond delicious. Our waiters, Adi and Justin were friendly and professional. I read so many reviews that the wait staff was rude and cold. Don’t believe it for one second. All the waiters were attentive and checked to see how everything was going. Don’t miss the apple strudel and schlag. I’d give Peter Luger’s ten stars if I could. Can’t wait to return.”

Pizza Paradise truly lives up to its name! 🍕✨ I catered from them for an event, and Michael was amazing — so helpful, responsive, and made the whole process effortless.

The food was a huge hit! 🤩 The specialty sushi disappeared instantly 🍣, and the MVP pizza pie — with pesto, marinara, and vodka sauces over melty mozzarella — was the star of the night. 🌟 BH the food kept coming.

“I had not heard of this bakery but a friend suggested meeting there a couple evenings ago. This was the Burke, VA location. The choice of pastries was pretty amazing, what we had was fresh and truly outstanding, service was efficient and friendly, and the place itself was very clean. Will be back!”

“I’ve been to a lot of sushi spots in NYC and Long Island, but Daruma of Tokyo in Great Neck honestly surprised me in the best way. The vibe here is so warm and inviting, the staff actually pay attention to you, check in without hovering, and make you feel comfortable right away. It’s the kind of place where you can relax the second you sit down.

The sushi was unbelievably fresh. I’m picky about sashimi, and theirs tasted clean and smooth with zero fishy aftertaste. The tuna practically melts, and the salmon had that perfect buttery texture you only get from really high-quality cuts. The amaebi and ikura were standouts too, sweet, fresh, and not overly briny. You can tell they take their time with the prep because everything came out beautifully presented.

One thing that really impressed me was the pricing. For the quality you’re getting, it honestly feels like a steal. I’ve paid way more at places that didn’t even come close. This spot proves you don’t need to drop crazy money just to get genuinely good sushi.

It’s definitely a place I’d bring friends or family to, especially people who appreciate authentic Japanese flavors without any pretension. And yes the claw machines in the back are such a cute touch. We ended up playing after dinner and won a couple of toys, which just made the night even better.

“I can't say enough about this kosher deli. The Corned Beef is absolutely mouth-watering and of course the hot dogs are second to none. One of the best corned beef sandwiches I've ever had also the matzo ball soup is delicious just like grandma's. I highly recommend this kosher deli for anyone who's in the Great Neck area. Also the owner Joe is a perfect gentleman and I have eaten there a few times already and if I'm in the area this is my go to spot to eat for lunch.”
