“Found this little gem through Google as we took my mother in law to the hospital for her surgery. The place didn’t disappoint, we had French toast, avocado toast, and eggs with bacon and sausage. “We went to Peter Luger’s in Brooklyn to celebrate my son’s and my birthdays. Incredibly, it was our first time there. We will be back. Beautiful, old world atmosphere. The food was beyond delicious. Our waiters, Adi and Justin were friendly and professional. I read so many reviews that the wait staff was rude and cold. Don’t believe it for one second. All the waiters were attentive and checked to see how everything was going. Don’t miss the apple strudel and schlag. I’d give Peter Luger’s ten stars if I could. Can’t wait to return.”

“Such a great little spot. The restaurant is clean and lovingly decorated, with photos of the staff and (I assume) their family and friends along one wall. A karaoke machine sits in one corner, which makes me think this is a place where happy memories have been made. The staff were super kind, they were out of some things I wanted but I was really happy with everything I got instead. The kung po chicken is vivid and flavorful, I loved how tender the chicken was and the sichuan numbing spice never disappoints. The wood ear mushroom appetizer was delightfully crunchy and soaked in a lightly spiced garlic and cilantro sauce. I loved how flakey and flavorful the scallion pancake was. I grabbed a yogurt drink and found it to be very yummy, lightly sweetened with matcha and fruity flavors. Whatever else they were cooking, everything on other peoples tables, all of it smelled and looked so good! Familial, vibrant, and simply delicious.”

“I can't say enough about this kosher deli. The Corned Beef is absolutely mouth-watering and of course the hot dogs are second to none. One of the best corned beef sandwiches I've ever had also the matzo ball soup is delicious just like grandma's. I highly recommend this kosher deli for anyone who's in the Great Neck area. Also the owner Joe is a perfect gentleman and I have eaten there a few times already and if I'm in the area this is my go to spot to eat for lunch.”

“This place is 🔥 has the best tasting food in all of great neck! It’s a take out deli kind of place with lots of different types of Spanish food. I ordered oxtail stew with roasted pork, and a side of shrimp salad/ceviche (the texture and flavors are on point). High quality food, good tasting, cooked with a lot of heart! The kind the your grandma makes. They even make the hot sauce in house… I really liked the mild green one, but the red spicy one is great as well! I think they do catering as well… I’m super excited about this find!”

I couldn’t really taste the difference between sushi places until coming here and now I can’t go back. Chef kama and chef komodo’s craftsmanship shows. For kitchen entrees, there hasn’t been one thing I’ve tried that’s bad and just a great variety of selection. I’d definitely come any days besides Saturdays or at least before 8pm on Sat to avoid the rush.”
