Plastic? Hello? Is this still a restaurant? Tables and restrooms are dirty, no desire to spend time or enjoy the food. Disparagement of Italian culture and hospitableness.

Mangia Bene catered the 65th birthday party we threw last night, and our guests were so impressed by the food. Everything looked, smelled and tasted amazing! And the ordering process was a dream. Jack gave his personal attention to every detail, and accommodated every need and request. We could not have asked for a better experience from beginning to end. We regularly order their pizzas, slices, heroes, and rolls, and they are always delicious. Thanks to Jack, Adam, and crew!

Been to so many Italian restaurants in the area and this one is my absolute favorite. The food is always delicious and freshly prepared. Been coming here for years and it just gets better. We love the friendly staff, wonderful service, very attentive. The owners are wonderful people. They always take care of us. Definitely try all the pastas and Pizza!! ?
It's THE best pizza, perhaps in all of NY. (And we've lived here a very, very long time.) Ok, so it's a pizza parlor--not a white tablecloth type of place, so concentrate on the amazing food! HUGE menu, plus they'll fix you whatever strange combo you desire in a slice, hero or entree. VERY nice owners (for 21 years!) are always helpful and come up with new dishes. The huge selection of soups are all amazing, as are the pizzas, stromboli, panini and entrees, all made with fresh ingredients. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Bring your appetite and your friends!

Hands down the BEST pizza on LI, maybe NY! They took over the old Scotto's pizzeria 21 years ago and kept their pizza recipe! Please support these terrific owners. Not just because they have been wonderful community members for 21 years, but because their food is sooo delicious! They will make up any kind of pizza, hero, etc. that you might like. Always smiling, helpful and oh oh oh, that sauce!! The soups. The panini. Eat in (inside or on the patio) or take out--either way, the food is delish!!

Went with my mother last night. Amazing service, seated right away. I'm in love with the food. I'm extremely choosey about food and I was thoroughly impressed. Ordered the pear cider and calamari. Life changing calamari. My mom never finishes her food and last night she did. This will be our new mom and daughter weekly restaurant

Great assortment of pizzas and excellent wraps. I'd highly recommend the grilled chicken, mozzarella and Pesto one! The owners and counter staff are personable and friendly. Regarding the recent review by Patric S., I've been in the restaurant weekly and there are neither roaches nor mouses (not that mouses is even a word, so right there the credibility of the review is questionable.) The restaurant is clean and well maintained. It's nice to have a casual place to eat or pick up food 7 days a week on the north side of G.N. That is something we certainly can use more of.
