“The Off-Premise Catering team at Lessings went above and beyond to make our wedding the best it could possibly be. My family and I were blown away by the efforts of Steve, Estee, Barbara, and the rest of the team. Making arrangements was a breeze, and from the second I met Steve, I felt so much more at ease about planning The Big Day. Our off-premise venue meant our wedding would mostly take place outdoors, so I had a lot of concerns regarding bad weather. Steve and the team have seen it all, and their experience assured me that they would make it a great party regardless of any foul weather – and that proved to be true. When the wind and rain hit our wedding, they were all prepared and it turned out not to be a big deal.

Not only did Lessing’s make planning the wedding so much easier, but they did an outstanding job on The Big Day. The food was absolutely incredible – I couldn’t believe it was from an off-site kitchen! The staff’s attention to detail was very impressive and everyone was so kind and seemed to genuinely want the day to be the best it could be.

“This place has a great vibe. It is an upscale hangout that has a comfortable atmosphere. The bartenders are very skilled (Anthony and Dillon). They can make any drink and I was really impressed with the whole focus on the customers. They were attentive and friendly. It was my first time there but won’t be the last. It would be a great before or after dinner place. We had wonderful meal downstairs in the Shand before stopping up. The service makes this a place to go. Unlike many places, they really make you feel like they are glad you are there and they really want to take care of you. It was refreshing. Top tier!“

I’ve tried many different specialty sandwiches they offer and they’re all amazing, but their BECs and BLTs are perfect for me, which is an important quality for delis in my opinion. Both BECs and BLTs here have perfect ratios with their ingredients and are never skimped out. Highly recommend this place if you just want a simple sandwich or if you wanna try any of their wide varieties of hot and cold sandwiches. Also, despite their high volume of orders on the phone and online, I rarely wait long when I order at the counter.“
