One of the best and most consistent restaurants in the North Fork (and that’s coming from a NYC based foodie). The best mussels and bread, that I would put up against any restaurant in New York. The ceviche is always fresh and delicious. The service is always excellent and attentive

The carpaccio of tuna was out-of-this-world delicious. Among other dishes we also had a triple threat raw oyster dish: the oysters on the half shell were covered by a slice of yellowfin and that sprinkled with caviar. Three distinct flavors successively exploding in your mouth. Amazing! We ended up here in the far eastern reaches of Long Island looking for a quick dinner on our way to the ferry to Connecticut. But Little Creek is undoubtedly worth a trip on its own merits. Dig this — Sunday afternoon, go visit a few of the North Fork wineries and then descend on Little Creek Oyster Farm in Greenport. A stunner.

The owners really understand how to build community AND serve up consistently excellent food and beverages. Even thought they had to move locations, the ownership never skipped a beat. They are part of the heartbeat of Greenport. Thank goodness for Little Creek!!

If you haven't visited the new home of Little Creek Oyster Farm & Market, you're missing one of Greenport's most unique experiences. While the location may have changed, everything that made Little Creek special remains intact—its quirky charm, welcoming atmosphere, and deep connection to Greenport's maritime heritage.

The new space feels like a natural evolution of what Little Creek has always been: a place where great food, local history, and community come together. Owners Ian and Rosalie along with their team are incredibly knowledgeable, not only about oysters and aquaculture, but also about the history of Greenport's working waterfront and the vital role shell fishing continues to play in our local economy.

Whether you're a seasoned oyster lover or trying your first shellfish, you'll leave having learned something new. You can enjoy some of the freshest oysters from Peconic Bay, learn how to shuck like a pro, and hear stories about the waters and waterfront that have shaped Greenport for generations. Shucking instruction has always been part of the Little Creek experience, making it both educational and fun.

The new location at 211 Carpenter Street provides even more room to gather, learn, and enjoy everything that makes the North Fork special, while maintaining the authentic spirit that locals and visitors have loved for years.

A visit to Little Creek Oyster Farm & Market is more than just a meal—it's a taste of the North Fork, a lesson in local history, and a celebration of Greenport's working waterfront all in one unforgettable stop.

I don’t go out often but when I do, have to stop by little creek. The frozen drinks, the oysters, always a good special, summer or winter- 10/10

This place is in kind of a weird little location, but we ended up really enjoying it. We got two dozen oysters, clams, and a couple of frozen soursop drinks, and everything was pretty satisfying.

The service was okay, although it was a little strange because there seemed to be too many workers standing around even though there weren’t many customers. The oysters were missing some of the usual condiments, but they tasted fresh and were still really good.

If we come back to Greenport, I’d stop here again.

Great spot in Greenport. The oysters are clearly fresh and locally sourced, super clean, and well curated. They typically carry about a dozen, all local. Small menu, but eveything is delicious & there are a few options for those who don't love shellfish. The whole place has a relaxed, cool vibe without trying too hard.
