The Local Reviews
I had lunch here today with my family. The food was absolutely amazing! You would never think of Greenwood Lake as a town to get awesome Pan Asian food but The Local 112 is da bomb!
Great eclectic menu and cocktails. Service was awesome too !
My family had a wonderful dinner at The Local 112 tonight. We tried a little bit of everything and it was all fantastic. It's not always easy to find a place that the whole family enjoys but The Local 112 had something everyone loved, even my 10 & 14 year old. Our favorite menu items were the Soup Dumplings, Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls, Salmon, steak and Bao Buns. The Mochi was awesome (especially the green tea) and who doesn't love a warm brownie with ice cream? Very cozy atmosphere...read full review

Irish Whisper Public House is a popular spot known for its friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff. The bar food, including fries, wings, and fried balls, is a favorite among guests. The Local 112 offers amazing Pan Asian food, which surprises many considering its location in Greenwood Lake. The menu can sometimes be limited, but the experience remains enjoyable. Regulars appreciate the veteran-friendly environment and the strong sense of community—here, guests are treated like family. Cocktails are tasty, with highlights like the Love You Anyway, a green drink with a strong melon flavor. The restaurant features live music events that add to the fun, even though they are not held regularly. The patio outside provides a nice setting for dining. With potential for growth, such as expanding the beer menu to include craft IPAs and more food options, Irish Whisper could become a top destination for casual drinks with friends. The restaurant also offers unique dishes like pork chop special, deep-fried and smothered with sausage peppers and onions in an Asian-type sauce topped with crispy potatoes, and crispy Asian salad with chicken. The atmosphere is more upscale compared to the original Irish Whisper, and the staff, including the bartender who is a cousin of the owner, handles themselves professionally and kindly. Many visitors have praised the food as always amazing, with favorites like soup dumplings and sea bass, making it a beloved local gem and a great spot for date nights.
