“What a delightful place to have our lunch! A true treasure in Corinth, New York. Great food and great people. Suzette waited on us and, as it turns out, is the mother of 4 veterans, one of whom owns the restaurant. She was fabulous giving us all kinds of history and ideas on places to visit. Could not recommend more highly. And, of course, Veteran's discount!“

“I’ve been going to Monte Cristos for years and never leave disappointed. Friendly staff, great food, beautiful view! My only problem is I seldom stray from the Buffalo Burger, absolutely delicious! Highly recommended if you’re looking for some good eats while enjoying Lake George!“

“Waitress was very friendly and attentive. We didn't know it was a BYOB, otherwise it was a very nice place to have dinner. We could have walked next-door to get a bottle of liquor, but decided not to. Presentation of food was just average but it was tasty. We would go back :)“

“My companion and I had dinner at Placid Pines earlier this week. I ordered the Reuben Grill sandwich and he had the Open-Faced Hot Roast Beef sandwich. Both were excellent. The corned beef in my Reuben was very lean and delicious, as was his roast beef. We both had the pumpkin crunch cheesecake for dessert, which was also very good. For a small pub like Placid Pines to serve such delicious food is a testament to their chef and kitchen staff.“
