“My companion and I had dinner at Placid Pines earlier this week. I ordered the Reuben Grill sandwich and he had the Open-Faced Hot Roast Beef sandwich. Both were excellent. The corned beef in my Reuben was very lean and delicious, as was his roast beef. We both had the pumpkin crunch cheesecake for dessert, which was also very good. For a small pub like Placid Pines to serve such delicious food is a testament to their chef and kitchen staff.“

“Went there after a day of Hiking in area today. Great food, service and decor. Had the Rubin with seasoned fries and it was excellent. Going to go back to try the pizza next. They give a 10% discount to the Bend in the River Golfers , First Responders and Vets. They indicted they are in process of getting a beer/ wine license which will be nice after a playing round of Golf and stopping in for lunch or dinner.“
