The West End Inn Reviews
attended dinner with a show on Thursday...truly a disappointment...buffet was roast beef sandwich...chicken....lettuce...pasta....chicken under cooked.....salad was just lettuce...should have had a potato... rice....veggies.....dessert was a cookie and doughy under cooked pastry.
Show was good but most could not hear performers, audio was terrible.....truly....do better.
It's great seeing all the positive changes at the West End Inn since the new ownership took over.
We visited again last night - Kim and rest of the staff are the best! The atmosphere was perfect with the live music, drinks, food and food.
Highly recommend visiting, and trying the Tom and Jerry!
Hoped fish fry under new owner would be as good as when under O’Brian, but was sadly disappointed. All portions substantially smaller even though price now up about 15%. Baked potato was cold and undercooked. Condiments for potato minuscule packet of butter, and small plastic container of sour cream. Mac salad among three orders containing same were two totally different styles. Time between order and food delivery way tooooo long. Maybe the new owners just don’t have it together...read full review

The West End Inn has been a village of Hamburg staple for nearly 100 years. The new owners Ann & Nicole have done great renovations. The food and service were incredible. Kim and Alex are amazing, with so many gluten free options prepared in a separate fryer—they take cross contamination very seriously. The fish fry with gf mac salad was delicious, and the 5 beer battered Haddock fish fries were the thickest portion of fish possibly ever had. The gluten free West End Burger was a hit, and a bad a$$ bowl of mac and cheese was spotted across the table. The slice of marble rye bread was huge and heard baked in house. Service was terrific, and even when a drink order was botched, the server quickly accommodated. The West End Inn has always been the ‘go to’ for family parties and holiday brunches, and they facilitated a wonderful post funeral celebration of life with flexibility, adjusting on the fly as many more people attended than expected. A great experience.
