“From beginning to end, everything was top notch. The waiter was very attentive, and the owner was very pleasant. The food was delicious. From the deviled eggs, calamari, chicken Milanese, and the scallops on tomato based risotto, everything was delicious! And to top it all off was two different kinds of cakes. Both were big and wonderful. We will definitely be going back!“

“We had Easter brunch today and it was fantastic! Both of my kids loved it! So friendly and nice! And super reasonable! Already looking forward to their normal brunch on the weekends!! And the 2nd floor is so pretty and airy ❤️“

“We made reservations and were seated immediately. Our Server was Lauren and very friendly. Our food was delicious and came pretty quickly. Everything was perfect and prices are decent. Definitely recommend dining here, we will be back!!“

“Like a light at the end of a dark tunnel, Rodney’s came to the rescue! We initially went for lunch at a very new, trendy new spot on Lakeshore Road. After a 20 minute wait, we were seated. The place was so loud! No band. No loud music. Just loud everything else. People talking, dishes clanking and who knows what else, it was so loud. There’s no way you could carry on a conversation without shouting. So we left right away. Next we tried a popular seafood restaurant nearby and were treated like second-class citizens just by inquiring how long the wait was. Out of there. Rodney’s was almost across the street so we went there. Best idea ever! Our hostess was friendly. Our server was a hoot. Funny, helpful and got everything exactly right. The food was excellent too. A cozy, clean spot right by the lake. I recommend Rodney’s highly.“

“Hoak’s Lakeshore is one of those places that instantly feels like a Buffalo experience, not just a meal. The wings? Insanely good—crispy, saucy, perfectly cooked, and honestly way better than the wings from the so-called “claimed original.” If you’re coming to Western NY and want to know what real Buffalo wings taste like, this is the stop.
What really seals it, though, is the vibe. Hoak’s is fantastic for tourists because it’s right on the water, open year-round, and always buzzing with energy. The staff is genuinely wonderful—friendly, fast, and clearly proud of the place—and the locals are half the entertainment.
Expect great conversations, plenty of laughs, and that classic Buffalo/Southtowns charm you can’t fake. Come hungry, stay longer than you planned, and don’t skip the wings.
P.S. Parking is super easy—a free, large attached lot. Right off the main road.“

“I cannot share enough accolades for The Catering Company WNY. From the planning, the customer service, the accommodations to changes, to the delivery & display of the food…top notch! The breads and muffins, the incredibly beautiful and delicious chocolate covered strawberries, the pretty pink chocolate covered pretzels and the veggie cream cheese pizza were enjoyed by all! Our guests can’t stop talking about them! I’m so thankful for you and for everything that you did. It was spectacular!!! XoXo“

“From the moment we walked in we knew this was going to be the place to be. From the beautiful bar and the super friendly and funny host, to our server Nicole B. and the perfect menu options- everything was amazing. Definitely recommend the Bone In Ribeye with ALL the extras! So worth the price! Cooks and kitchen staff absolutely know what they are good at and we loved it!“

“very pricey and small portions..coworker got steak in the grass sandwich and sweet potato fries and with tax and takeout fee it was 24 dollars..souvlaki wrap and fries was 17 dollars..a super basic cold tuna sandwich with fries was 16 dollars..this place used to be great but has went downhill the past few years..they've lost my business“
