Menu says baked potato with broiled fish. Waitress said NO, they are are out of baked potatoes tonight. Nice big piece of fish but drenched in butter and could barely detect a hint of cajun. Lemon pepper broiled fish same story. New England chowder not bad. Service alright. Great view over lake.
The (pork chops) were not chops, but pork shoulder. Disappointing with a lot of gristle and fat. The serving was not as described on the menu. No stars for this meal.

The chowder, fish and chips, hamburgers, and wings are perfect, with the wings described as insanely good—crispy, saucy, and way better than the so-called "claimed original." The hoak burger was called the best burger ever by one guest. There are very generous portions. The staff is genuinely wonderful, friendly, and fast, and the bartenders engage guests in great conversation. The vibe is fantastic for tourists, open year-round, and always buzzing with energy. Parking is super easy with a free, large attached lot right off the main road. Guests can expect great conversations and that classic Buffalo/Southtowns charm. Don't skip the wings.
