Rodney's restaurant is known for its outstanding food, including clam chowder soup, fish fries, sandwiches, and chicken wings. The bartender is respectful and offers a wide variety of drinks. It is a Hamburg spot you have to try, with a lounge side and a dinner side. The cleanest fried food is very flavorful and fresh, with full seafood and more seafood than batter. The best crab cake is mostly meat, not filler. The beef on weck is outstanding. The service is great and five star. It is wonderful to sit on the covered patio or enjoy the lake view. While the seating can be crowded and parking is limited, the restaurant stays busy for a reason. The parking area is small.
