Edgewater Restaurant is a lively and fun spot with a lovely view of Shinnecock Bay from its deck tables. Reservations are now available, making it easier to secure a spot, and are recommended. The restaurant is perfect for special occasions, as outside cakes can be brought in and served. The menu features delicious dishes, such as eggplant rollatini, meatballs, and Barrata, all served with excellent service. The staff is terrific, providing prompt valet service, a welcoming reception, and attentive, friendly servers. The food is reasonably priced and clearly made with care, with favorites including crab and avocado salad and lobster pasta. Guests have enjoyed the enjoyable atmosphere, though some note that the pacing of the meal can feel rushed, with appetizers and entrées arriving quickly. Despite this, many look forward to returning, hoping for a more relaxed experience and improvements in taste and presentation.
