Food was very good, however the service was a mess. It was empty yet almost everything we ordered was messed up. Most of the issues came from the bar and they could just not get it together. They turned the music off on us before our entrees even came out which made the meal awkward for the remainder of the time. It was pretty uncomfortable as you could just hear the waitstaff talking and it made us feel as if we were inconveniencing them. I think they wanted us to leave because we were basically the only table in the place.
This is a wonderful restaurant with a perfect menu that speaks my love language of beef carpaccio, seafood towers, pasta, pizza, steak and desserts worth every calorie. *cannoli cream stuffed zeppolis with chocolate sauce*. Also, I fell in love last night... with the specialty cocktail menu! Aperol spritz was delicious but the toasted almond martini was the perfect end to a perfect evening! Well done!!
I am a person who has Celiac Disease and can not have rye, wheat, barley, or oats or my immune system will go crazy and last a few days after. The menu offered gluten free crust and pasta but nothing else. I just wanted a yummy salad but they said none of the salads were gluten free except the house salad. I personally did not feel safe eating pasta or pizza there. It was disappointing that none of the fish dishes were gf and I was stuck with a house salad.
This was our first time at Barona Bay Restaurant. We got there early and mad the price fixed menu. The choices were several and included a starter, then main course and a dessert. It was plenty of food and portions were the same as dinner.
Had lemon chicken dish on two different visits, both times was excellent. Also a good value compared to other restaurants in the Hamptons. Also shared pizza as an appetizer was very good. Our waiter Matt was very accommodating, friendly and had a great smile.
Tried Barona Bay tonite, and it was amazing! Calamari wasn't chewy at all; dipping sauce for it was a lemon aoli, which was good...but could've used a second dipping sauce with some spice! My husband got the filet with scalloped potatoes and a stuffed tomato. I got the scallops with risotto. My 3 yr old had a pizzette of pepperoni pizza. All 3 dishes were delicious. My husband even asked if the owner was the chef because of how impeccable the plates turned out. AND when your kid eats the entire pizzette, you know they're delicious! Our server Ashton was wonderful; ask for him when you go! Highly recommend!
This is the second time we have eaten here. The first was in the winter, and the place was fairly empty and very quiet. The food is different - in a very good way. A varied and interesting menu, fairy reasonable prices. The second time we went there was this past weekend (in June) Much more crowded but the room is big, there are plenty of seating options, and the ambience is lovely. Again, the food was delicious! We had the shrimp tacos and the pestolino pasta. So good! Excellent service as well - friendly and attentive staff. This will be our go-to place whenever we are in Hampton Bays.
Live music was pleasant. Out door dining abuts parking lot. Ordered hamburger which took over 45 minutes to arrive and 12 inch pizza which was the wrong order. Appetizer was a charcuterie board over priced. Waitress seemed overwhelmed and manager didn't adjust bill for our issues. Overall disappointed. Eventually took hamburger to go.
The food and drink options were outstanding and at an affordable price. Shoutout the vodka pizza and roasted Brussels sprouts! The waitstaff were very attentive and even brought out a bottle of Prosecco on the house for our bridal celebration!
The watermelon salad was overly dressed with vinegar. The pasta with clams ridiculously priced at $30 and served with 6 clams and overly salted. The salmon was delicious but served in a bowl instead of plated on a flat plate. Staff was young but lively and attentive. The lighting made it feel like you were in a pizza joint or cafeteria. It did not feel like you were out fir fine dining. We will give it another chance. We are hoping for a better experience

Our server was fantastic! The service team and supervisor all worked well together to get us everything we wanted. The Barona Bowl was delicious! We had pizza which was good at the first bites, then too much truffle flavor & too much bbq sauce. Stick to the basics with the pizzas. It was more casual than we expected. Good for a quick bite, but not fine dining.
Great good at good prices. The need to turn the lights down a bit as the restaurant is way too bright but they are making good changes. Pizza is excellent. As is their salmon. Don't miss the arugula salad!
food blah didn't come out at the same time we got food in intervals waitress screwed up the bill charged us double for everything and never got a manager overall experience poor food way too salty
We wanted you to be great and I for a successful operation.. We live five minutes away. Weneed a fun place to go to with predicteably good food. That is why we were extremely disappointed. We had brunch this past Sunday. The food was at best average and disappointing. The eggs Benedict had regular ham and not Canadian bacon and the ham was extremely salty. Everyone else in my group of four I was disappointed in the food. We were really glad to see the new place had opened. I couldn't wait to go there. We wanted to have a great fun experience and it wasn't. You will have to do a lot more work and rethink this if you are going to be successful.
Went to try been to Standord and Salvatore's and didn't have high expectations but was pleasantly surprised having a delicious drink with a great meal, will definitely be goi g back to try bottomless mimosas at their Sunday Brunch
