I was very apprehensive , but most places were close So I got the chicken and white rice and stew beans . The rice and beans were very traditional and chicken was a bit dry . I mean I could tell from before I purchased it. However the lady taking my order was very nice and accommodating. Kind of felt like I was bothering the women for actually coming in and ordering something they seem to have had a problem with the fact that I didn't speak enough Spanish to appease them and only one of the younger women helped me they overcharged me for my milkshakes and their Beans really doesn't have any flavor their meat was old and I just felt like they didn't even want me there really so maybe I won't go back for $6 milkshakes you know they charged me $22 for oxtails with...read full review

Clean establishment, but don't expect much atmosphere. Friendly service. Food is good, homemade taste, and consistent. Always fresh and ready to go. I've been eating here all my life.
