I had an amazing experience dining at Be-Bob Bagel Shop in the heart of Hempstead, located on Main Street and Front Street. This hidden gem offers a wide variety of bagels with different toppings, a salad bar, and an impressive selection of sandwiches.

What sets Be-Bob apart is the personal touch from the owner, who is often behind the counter, inventing new and wonderful food options. The shop has plenty of seating, with a lovely view from both sides, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your meal.

I'm particularly impressed by the Central American food options available, adding a unique twist to the traditional bagel shop experience. If you're looking for a delicious meal in a welcoming atmosphere, Be-Bob Bagel Shop is a must-try!“

“I am in town for the weekend and stopped in for coffee and breakfast at about 11 am on a Saturday. I was originally going to pick up food to head back over to the airbnb but ended up staying while I ate a chicken empanada, an Everything Flagel (flat bagel) with lox cream cheese, and a cup of coffee. As I ate, a lot of people came and went and seemed to know the place really well. It appears to be a family business and the customer service is friendly and efficient. The parking is plentiful and convenient, and the place is clean with a great assortment of fresh bagels. The coffee is fresh and average tasting. I was amazed at how many people ordered ordered bagels with the inside fluff scooped out, which I have been doing forever. This is why I was so happy to discover the Flagel which I asked them to scoop out anyway, but there was less to scoop out because it is already flat. I'm interested only in the crispy part, not the soft bready part inside. The empanada was great. They have chicken and beef. If you buy 6 of them, then the 7th one is free. The dessert/sweets assortment varied from things that looked homemade to packaged cookies to muffins from Costco. To go, I bought 2 more garlic bagels with lox and regular cream cheese, a bagel with some homemade chicken salad, a beef and a chicken empanada, plus a black-and-white cookie (which was fresh and delicious even though it was prepackaged.) This place is great, and I wish there was one like this where I live in Redondo Beach, CA. The only negative thing I have to say about Bethpage Bagels is that I wish that they would accept some form of payment other than only cash. Even if it were Venmo, CashApp, or PayPal, any other option would be an easier and more sanitary way to pay for food. I don't like seeing people in a food establishment handling dirty coins and bills if they are also putting food into bags and containers. That's the only reason why I didn't give this place a 5-star rating. If this were not a cash only establishment, I would've purchased 7 empanadas to go, instead of only 2!“

“Fantastic catering. This was our 3rd time catering heros and first catering hot food. Was a little nervous getting Italian trays for just a deli… but man did they not disappoint!!! Tim and I think Heidi/Letia helped me out. Amazing order combo and food. Everything was delicious all the guests loved the food and my coworkers were even talking about the eggplant parm still on Monday at work. Bagelville is spacious, and there's always room to sit down and read the paper with your bagel and a coffee; that is if you're old school like that. The main reason for my review is the service component of the equation. Oftentimes, Bagel spots can be understaffed and chaotic. People crammed in, long lines, and lackluster experience. My guys at Bagelville want to make sure you get what you came for, and leave with a smile. I recently brought both of my children with me, and it was refreshing the way they interacted with the staff. Overall, if you're in the area, give them a shot. You won't be disappointed. “The food was amazing, I got the Texas Hold ‘em but with grilled chicken and they did an amazing job. They cook the chicken/bacon right in front of your eyes, plus the food tastes incredibly fresh. I recommend getting one of their panini’s, they know what they are doing and most likely what they have on the menu is a really good idea.The place has a huge drink selection on the wall, a few shelves full of chips, and the menu is incredibly easy to read and it actually includes the ingredients which you don’t see anymore nowadays.The staff was super nice and took your order quickly, somehow the (I believe manager) remembered my order (Texas hold ‘em with grilled chicken) in just three visits.Sadly soon I’ll have to leave New York and won’t be able to eat here anytime soon, but I will remember this place.“

“Two days ago I stopped in for a big breakfast. Everything is cooker and prepared right infront of you, everything is clean and the staff there is ontop of getting to you right away.

The wait is normal considering this is a made to order spot and cooked with care.

We got a couple of sandwiches a side of homefries and pancakes that was straight out of this world.

You wonder how some places the breakfast has no taste, almost like it’s just generic bacon egg and cheese on a plain roll and you’re gone in under a minute.

This is not that!

The food here is delicious, the bread is on point, the grill and store is clean, they care about making the food perfect and it really shows. Hats off to them 10/10

Oh and a side note that sealed the deal is the Iced coffee comes with coffee ice cubes!“

“I’ve been too many bagel places, and my obsession is definitely Bagels and Bialys, this spot is amazing. There are numerous Bagel spots and I have been so many of them. They absolutely do not live up to this place. I used to live in Queens and I moved to Suffolk County and I could not find a Bagel spot. Now I come here on my commute, and it is absolutely worth coming off of the Long Island expressway, and driving around to get a bagel here. The Bagels come straight of the oven and you can see them being made. They have a crispy crunch on the outside and sre soft and chewy on the inside, and I have tried about every flavor of bagel, and every single one is excellent. Please drive by the chain stores and come straight here. You will not regret it.“

“I was in a super rush to get to the airport this morning and I had a family of eight to feed before I get there I called Moshe at the Giant bagel store and gave him the order over the phone and 10 Minutes later the food was waiting for me all packed in bags and boxes Moshe and his wonderful staff even his wife came to the rescue I can’t thank them enough. “It's a good bagel outside of the 5 boroughs. I usually stop by here before a road trip to pick up a quick breakfast. The bagels are good, the staff is nice and the turnaround time is quick. I like to get the roast beef omelet on a bagel but I've tried sesame bagels with creamcheese and it was pretty in-line with a brooklyn bagel.“

“I just want to start off by saying that the bagels at Maru Bagel are SIGNIFICANTLY smaller then the average size bagel you would get at another breakfast / bagel store. I paid $18 for 3 bagels and an orange juice. With that being said… they have a wide selection of options of lunch foods (sandwiches) and breakfast wraps and egg specialities. I love coming here because it is local and they have a GREAT selection of cream cheeses. They by FAR have the BEST pumpkin cream cheese in the area. YOU MUST try to the cinnamon French toast bagel with the pumpkin ? cream cheese you will love it!“

Their get a dozen + 3 free deal is pretty solid, a great go-to for work functions, but I find their cream cheese to be a bit over priced.
